Quick reminder that, at the time this episode came out, Ozzie(Asmodeus) was the most powerful being we'd ever met in Hell, sans Charlie. And Millie assaulted his boyfriend/lover mid-song. That "GET THE FUCK OUT", for as comedic as it is, is also a MASSIVE display of mercy from Asmodeus. Dude could have killed Millie right then and there with less than a breath.

Yeah, as much as I love Moxxie. Him and Millie were in the LUST Ring, not really the place for lovey dovey stuff. Even if Ozzie and Fizz are secretly just as lovey dovey in private. Ozzie can't be having that shit in his club.
I don't defend their behavior like so many people do just cause they are favorites. If moxxie wasn't delivering right after the second chance, they could've kicked him out right then and there, but they chose to keep publicly humiliating them instead. And all that to Stolas, probably to embarrass Blitz more, was definitely intentional. Even like-able, usually nice characters can do mean things lol but that is hell for you (and reality; just people being people, we are complex). So I find it weird when people twist their intentions and say ozzie and fizz were legit trying to be nice here. Even saying they were actually giving compliments, or justifying it by implying moxxie deserved it by being 'worse' for singing a love song in a lust club - which the other patrons clapped for in the end anyways. Perhaps it can be argued both parties were in the wrong, but one was clearly more innocent than the other - it feels like delusion to ignore that fozzie had some malicious intent here. They were mean, unkind, and that's okay, they were meant to be antagonists in this episode, but it feels like some people struggle to accept that. Not saying you think this way, maybe that's why you said "at first"! Just giving my two cents about what i constantly see

He is an ars goetia like Stolas. He bridges the the rankings of the goetia and the deadly sin, which is why he is regarded as the "weakest sin", but could destroy stolas because he's the highest goetia Also, he is a half Cherub and human. Cherubim have four heads, four wings, and their body take after their main head. Asmodeus' main head is bird-like which is why he has chicken feet. Bull Cherubim would have hoove-like feet, like Satan who's also a bull Cherub Edit: the baby Cherubs you see in ep four are modern depictions of Cherubs; Satan does not look like a baby goat
To answer a couple of your questions regarding character design: Fizz is an imp but he has mechanical arms and legs, his replicas are the only ones fully robotic. Ozzie is based on a rooster, since those have multiple chickens as partners and are know to be very lustful animals.
Take a note of the little bow Stolas gives Blitz just before he drives away. It comes up again later. Nothing major, but it gives some insight in how Stolas sees Blitz.
Yes. He also calls him Blitz, not “Blitzy.” And he dresses up for their “date.” Decades of training that “they” are beneath him just doesn’t stick. Unfortunately, Blitz isn’t in any shape to notice that.

So, the situation with episode 8 was complicated but... here goes: Episode 7 was the season finale part 1 and episode 8 was the season finale part 2. episode 8 was postponed due to legal issues with Kesha (Who voices one of the characters) that made the episode come out some time after season 2 had already started. Vivsie said that she didn't wan't to disappoint fans if the highly awaited part 2 flopped so she just made it it's own separate episode. And that's why episode 7 has finale in the title.

15:58 blitz does not know what love really, truly is. He keeps seeking it out, hence his obsession with moxie and millie. When stolas hid his face behind the menu, that's when blitz "knew" he wasn't "worth" loving.
It’s so sad, bc it’s so obvious that both Blitzo and Stolas feel like they’ve been humiliated in front of the other. But it’s pretty clear that Blitzo thinks Stolas feels humiliated by HIM, rather than IN FRONT of him. The misunderstandings between them are so painful
Details to note in this episode, that you didn’t mention, but are good to keep in mind: - In the photos of Blitzø and Fizz from their childhood, Blitzø does not have any of the white patches on his face/skin that he has when he’s older. It’s important to note that imp scar tissue is white. - Also in those photos, Fizz has normal limbs, whereas now, his limbs are clearly robotic prosthetics. Also, Fizz’s horns were fairly large as a teen, whereas now he wears a floppy Jester’s hat that vaguely resembles his horns. And his face is completely white, apart from his still red nose, and it’s likely not makeup. - In the photo of Blitzø, his sister, and their mom, look at the necklace that his mom is wearing, and compare it with the choker that Blitzø always wears.
Episode 8 is a legal smorgusboard of issues. But yes, episode 8 is the ACTUAL final episode of the season. If you want to know Vivienne gained popularity with a Kesha song. When she made Helluva Boss, she had Kesha write a song for a character in the next episode. UNFORTUNATELY the lawyers that own Kesha didnt want her singing the song she wrote. And the LEGAL battle therein becomes why episode 8 of season 1 didnt release until the date of episode 7 of season 2
There hasn't been a direct connection established between Ozmodius and Valentino...but, in theory, he'd be under his jurisdiction in some manner. As for Oz himself, I believe he's supposed to be a rooster, or a 'cock' so to speak.
I don't actually think there is that connection between Val and Oz. Oz's jurisdiction is the Lust ring. Valentino cannot leave Pride. He is stuck there, just like all other sinners. He has established himself as the porn overlord in Pride, like some kind of Chinese bootleg of Lust, but he still falls under the jurisdiction of Pride. If a Sin is going to deal with him, it has to be Lucifer, because Valentino is confined to Lucifer's turf.
It depends how the jurisdiction system works in that regard. I could see that being an interpretation, but it's just as possible that anything falling under/succeeding or profiting with 'lustful' means Oz would have a hand in. I don't think Sins can intervene in rings that are not their own. And if they could, I doubt Ozzie would let Valentino do what he does how he does it. We knew well that Asmodeous despises love potions and non-consensual relationships; Valentino is the complete opposite of Ozzie's values.
I believe it was confirmed that Valentino intentionally copies Asmodeus’ look, down to the imp “servant.” He can’t leave the Pride Ring, but it doesn’t mean that he doesn’t know what the Spirit of Lust is or looks like.
Blitzo breaks my heart this episode. We learned about his self-destructive tendencies/intimacy issues in Truth Seekers (last ep) but seeing it in action this ep is painful. If only he let himself see a version of Stolas that loves him outside of their sexual encounters, he might find the intimacy that he desperately tries to find/vicariously live through in Millie & Moxxie, but Blitzo is so unable to accept that anyone could possibly love him that he doesn't see it. And the way he's scratched himself out of every photo on his wall... man, I just wanna give this little imp guy a hug
Watching this episode you realise that Asmodeus (at least of all the deadly sins we’ve seen so far) is probably the kindest. He didn’t kick moxxie out straight away for singing a love song in a strictly lustful lounge and even tried to kindly (with a little teasing but still) redirect him and even give an example of what he could sing, giving him a second chance. And then moxxie ignored him and Millie injured his employee, like Asmodeus could’ve killed them with a snap of his fingers for that if he wanted to but instead just kicked them out AAAAND LET MOXXIE FINISH HIS SONG FIRST. Ozzie is a pretty chill guy man

Fizzaroli, Pentious and Adam are all voiced by Alex Brightman and he always does some kind of funny sounds when singing, like the trumpet for Fizz or Adams guitar solo in hazbin, does the same for other unrelated work too.

My fave part of the episode is when Stolas is so embarrassed by what is happening that he hides behind the menu. He doesn't stick up for their relationship. And then it cuts to Blitz reaction to that. He looks down at the floor in shame. That single action by Stolas confirmed Blitz thoughts about their relationship that it was embarrassing and lust based. Which in turn makes Blitz shut off and distance himself from any of Stolas' advances after that moment. In his mind Stolas loving him isn't genuine even though we all know from seeing Stolas go for the phone when seeing Blitz is calling is showing that he loves him. Can't wait to see you react to the rest.

Like, I love Stolas, but when he hid his face behind the menu, my heart absolutely broke for Blitzø. 😢 I understand where both Stolas and Blitzø are coming from, and why each of them have communication issues. It always irritates me when reactors or commentators place the blame solely on only one of them, when they both have things to work on before their relationship can reach a healthy place.

To answer your question about episode 7 vs 8 being the finale: episode 8 was meant to be the finale, but there were a ton of legal issues due to a certain guest star (who you'll see when you get there) and copyright ownership of the songs their character sings. So instead of making everyone wait for those legalities to be settled, they just made episode 7 the finale and moved on to season 2, releasing episode 8 much later once they were able to. You'll learn why Fizz makes those whirring noises in episode 2x06...along with a bunch of your other questions. Blitzø crossed his own face out of every photo on the wall; that's how much he hates himself. He can't even stand to look at himself. And that... is both heartbreaking and way more relatable than I'd like it to be...
So, Fun fact about Ozzie's design. It is inspired by the description of Asmodeus from the ars goetia in the lesser keys of solomon. "the first is like a bull, the second like a man, and the third like a ram or a goat; the tail of a serpent, and from his mouth issue flames of fire".
Stolas hid his face due to the stigma of a royal having infatuations with a low class demons like imps that’s mostly considered the help shameful and taboo. Stolas hiding himself behind the menu and not standing up for him out of possible embarrassment made Blitz feel his fears where valid that he’s just a shameful plaything in to Stolas even if its not really the case which is why Blitz said all he cared about was the s**. Asmodeus is a Rooster themed demon since he’s not only a one of the seven prince of hell but a king in Ars Goetia since Viv decided to make all or most of the Ars Goetia in the her universe bird theme demons and related as a noble family Asmodeus was made a rooster. In real life the Ars Goetia aren’t demons aren’t all birds Amodeus traditionally not being one but she keeps the elements of him having three his main and the 2 on the sides of his crest fiery fluff thing one being a ram or goat a bull and the middle head of a man designed here into that shadowy rooster head.
Did I miss that? I only remember the moment at the table where Blitz was the one I saw pull his hand away from Stolas who was reach out to him? There was the moment when they were roasting Stolas about his life decisions and he hid behind the menu.

My favourite Helluva boss character is Stolas. Asmodeus is good character too, but most of Helluva boss characters are very good. Same goes to the Hazbin Hotel characters, just two great shows man.

Yes this is what Helluva Boss does to you 😭😭😭 Episode 5 on it just GOES, and slowly starts to hit you with emotion more and more now. Trust me, every episode after this just GOES, and hits you on some emotional level and every episode after episode 4 just moves the emotions of the characters, their development and backstory, and plot forward. It just GOES, it’s SO good. You’ll definitely cry and get emotional throughout season 2 as season 2 just HITS, EVERY EPISODE. It’s insane, I love it 😭 and I NEVER expected it from this show that was just so silly and fun at first 😂 like I didn’t expect to get emotional and so invested in this show, but then post episode 4 goes and DAMN 😖. I can’t WAIT for all the episodes coming!! I NEVER expected to get so emotionally moved and hyped for all the connections and characters by the end! It’s amazing!! I love that you already seem to have a pretty good grasp on the plotlines and emotional baggage that is being sprinkled in through the episodes. If you haven't already watched it I would advise you to watch and pay attention to the credits of episode 8 to see the 'full' name of the new character introduced as it doesn't get said out loud at all, only their nickname.
21:09 literally me everytime i see this episode, the next one, the next one, then s2e4, then s2e5, then s2e6,,,,,like every other episode in s2 is making me sob. I fucking love helluva so much. Nowhere will you find a show that is so "immature" and full of crude humour and swearing and SEEMS juvenile on the surface and still have it chock full of beautiful, fascinating complexity and deep themes at the same time. A masterpiece. And you're so right on the money about blitz, about him putting up walls and trying to live through millie and moxxie and get involved with them to experience and feel what a stable loving relationship is like. Like he craves intimacy and love and people but is too scared of fucking up and being hurt, that he never dares to try it himself, but stalks M&M to experience it second-hand. That's all he's allowing himself. In how he pushes away and low-key villainizes stolas as a defense mechanism. His face scratched out in all his framed photos implies a clear self hatred and feeling of undeserving-ness, playing a huge part in his behaviour and all his relationships. Blitz, my poor damaged bb
Kesha is in the next episode voicing a character. She was still in legal battle at the time of when the episode was supposed to release, which in turn delayed the episode. She wasn’t able to sing the song that she cowrote for the episode but still voiced the character.

Episode 8 was delayed to to copyright issues, so it came out after season 2 episode 2 or 3, but it is intended to be watched after episode 7. You will figure out why it could have been copy right delayed when you read who shpwed up in the cast.
So about Ozzie: hes one of the Kings of hell from Solomon's key and his design, just like Stolas, is based of his actual description in the key of Solomon. His description is as follows: "He appeareth with Three Heads, whereof the first is like a bull the second like a man and the third like a ram; he bath also the tail of a serpent, and from his mouth issue Flames of Fire. His feet are webbed like those of a goose." so overall he's a bird made of fire with a bull and ram skull on either side that has the shape of a man when using less fire. Love that his design matches his og description
This episode really hits hard. It made me cry. Everything Ozzie and Fizz said about Stolas and blitz’s love lives is the truth. Plus blitz’s biggest fear is that he’s going to die alone and no one is going to care. 😢😢😢
27:54 To answer the question on the skulls, the design of Asmodeus is based off of the literal Mythology - he is Rooster themed with 3 heads: one as a goat and one as a Lion. Those are the extra heads you’re seeing in his Maine. Honestly it’s still fascinating how they design characters like him and Lucifer imo anyway hope that helped 😂✨
This is my favorite episode of Hazbin/Helluva Boss because A) I'm in love with Stolas and his adorable (partially) unrequited crush on Blitz, B) I love Moxxie and Millie's relationship, C) The House of Asmodeus song is not only musically great but such a great story moment for how it captures relationships between so many characters: Blitz and Stolas, Stolas and Asmodeus, Asmodeus and Fizzarollie, Fizarrollie and Blitz, Blitz and Verosika, Blitz and Moxxie, Moxxie and Millie. So many relationships are going on in the song and it's very well-done.
Now you've met the first of the Sins (well aside from Luci), Asmodeus, embodiment of lust! And yeah, those looks between him and Fizz weren't quite as subtle as they thought xD I loved you looking through all the photos and stuff in the end, there's some good shit there! Can't wait for you to see certain later episodes

i feel Blitz pushes people away because he feels hes going to somehow screw up their life and and he sees how Millie and moxi have such a great relationship and he wants to have that so he uses them as a sort of study guide

Those aren't skulls in his mane. They're his other heads. One thing Vivzipop has put a lot of effort into is incorporating a lot of demonology into the the setting. The Sins all use their glyphs from the Ars Goetia, while many of the designs are inspired by the descriptions of Demon Lords in the Dictionnaire Infernal. And the structure of Hell is inspired by the Divine Comedy, specifically Dante's Inferno, though the number of Circles differs from 9 in the poem to 7 corresponding to the 7 Deadly Sins. Asmodeus (or Ozmodeus) in the Dictionnaire Infernal is described as having 3 heads. A Bull, a Man, and a Goat.
Asmodeus is a 3 headed demon rooster, and a member of the Aries Goetia. He outranks all other Goetia because he is also the Prince of Lust, ranking him just under Charlie in the hierarchy of Hell. Season 2 gets into what happened between Fizz and Blitz, Fizz's arms and legs are mechanical but he is an Imp. Episode 8 got cut short but basically covers the party Loona went to and takes place during and a bit after this one. Plot stuff doesn't happen in it but it's a treat.
Eppisode 8 was supposed to be the original end of season, but got delayed due to having to work out legal complications regarding Kesha voicing Beelzebub. Ultimately she ended up voicing the spoken parts only, and they brought in someone else (a sound alike) to sing the Beelzebub's song.
One of the interesting yet frustrating things about the Vivzie-verse is how many details of it go unexplained in the shows and can only be found out by going online. On the one hand it's a good strategy to encourage engagement with the community, but it still leaves people confused. Ozzie's design comes from a rather complicated description of Asmodeus where he has 3 different animal heads. Not everyone loves his look, but then again everybody likes to post their own redesigns of Vivzie's characters so that's nothing new. I think this is the ep where we first see what the show is really about and how messed up Blitz actually is. He only feels comfortable when those he loves can't escspe. He kind of holds his employees hostage and jokingly smothers and harrases them. He doesn't trust any arrangement that isn't transactional.
Fun Fact: Asmodeous is voiced by James Monroe Iglehart... who also voiced the Overlord Zestial in Hazbin Hotel (As well as Vortex, the Hellhound who Loona had a crush on). The little 2 shadow faces on the sides of Ozzie's real head are a nod to Asmodeous real life depictions where he is shown to have 3 heads... one human, one Goat and one Bull. Yes, the Fizzarolli shown in this episode is the original, and like you saw in Blitz's pictures he was born as a normal Imp... but now he seems to have robotic augmentations which would make him a cyborg. You also saw the Elevator that Hellborn demons use to travel between the 7 rings of Hell.... given it's clearly angelic design it is almost certain that Lucifer is the one who created it. The Rings of Hell are layered like this: 1.- Pride (Red) 2.- Wrath (Orange) 3.- Gluttony (Yellow) 4.- Greed (Green) 5.- Lust (Dark Blue) 6.- Envy (Purple) 7.- Sloth (Pink) Blitz always spies on Millie and Moxxie because he wants to feel a little bit of the warmth and love they have for each other... even if it is from afar. He doesn't view himself as worthy of love therefore he is afraid of being close with others. This also ties with the last scene of the episode where we see that Blitz has scratched himself out of all the pictures... which is clearly a sign that he hates himself.
So Ozzie's 'skull' things are a reference to real life depictions of Asmodeus, who has three heads, oneof which is a ram's head and another is a bull's andthe third is more human further, for some reason Ozzie is also based around a rooster, likely as a contrast to stolas being an owl due to them sharing a scene here.
The reason why Blizo’s hallucination was so sad and harsh is because he hates himself. He sad and scared about being alone and dying alone. Which I think that’s sad and sweet. Also why he scribbled his vase out of the pictures is because, he hates himself.😢😢❤❤😊😊
This episode was honestly a great way to introduce one of the member of the 7 sins in the show for the very first time other than Lucifer from Hazbin Hotel

I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet but Ozzie is a rooster, and I'm not sure if it's confirmed or not but fans guessing he has some relations to Stolas (cuz both birds lol). Ozzie's skull like things on his feathers/fur are actually based on the original Asmodeus which has 3 heads , the sides being a goat and a bull. Fans are also guessing that Valentino "stole"/tries to resemble Ozzie's style because maybe he's looking up to him at some degree by Ozzie being the embodiment of lust.
Asmodeus in the source material Viv used is supposed to have 3 heads, the head of a man, goat and bull, which is why he has the two heads in his fluff!

I'm so so glad you went back to look at all the pictures. I even missed the first one with Stolas for a while but I definitely think it gives you a huge glance into his real feeling for Stolas. So many people missed it and think blitz is just an asshole. The fact that he took it while Stolas was asleep (something I think a lot of us can connect with) shows it's not just a performative picture. He really loves Stolas but because of his baggage and mental stuff he can't be open about it for fear of either hurting Stolas in the long run or getting rejected himself. Gaah can't wait for you to finish the series lol so no spoilers. The next one is 8 btw, you get to actually watch it in order unlike most of us 🤣 also yes Kesha is in the next one but to be clear she doesn't sing the song, just voices the character. Another girl does an impression of her for the song so it does sound very similar (it's all tied to why the episode was suuuuper late).
My theory for why the ring stations look so angelic is because they were created by Heaven to seperate the demons in Hell and create factions with rings in hopes that it would cause them to have conflicts with each other and leave Heaven alone. It would make each ring want to feel superior to the last and compete.

The "skulls" in Asmodeus's plummage are actually a neat reimagining of his original description, wherein he has three heads, each of a different animal. Though I'm not sure where the rooster imagery comes from, since traditionally he is more or less a mismatch of different animal and human parts.
The Hellevator is how you normally travel through the seven rings, only Hellborns can, so no angels or human souls, we still don't know why, but Viv mentioned it in a tweet around episode 2

Yeah, as much as I love Moxxie. Him and Millie were in the LUST Ring, not really the place for lovey dovey stuff. Even if Ozzie and Fizz are secretly just as lovey dovey in private. Ozzie can't be having that shit in his club.
I don't defend their behavior like so many people do just cause they are favorites. If moxxie wasn't delivering right after the second chance, they could've kicked him out right then and there, but they chose to keep publicly humiliating them instead. And all that to Stolas, probably to embarrass Blitz more, was definitely intentional. Even like-able, usually nice characters can do mean things lol but that is hell for you (and reality; just people being people, we are complex). So I find it weird when people twist their intentions and say ozzie and fizz were legit trying to be nice here. Even saying they were actually giving compliments, or justifying it by implying moxxie deserved it by being 'worse' for singing a love song in a lust club - which the other patrons clapped for in the end anyways. Perhaps it can be argued both parties were in the wrong, but one was clearly more innocent than the other - it feels like delusion to ignore that fozzie had some malicious intent here. They were mean, unkind, and that's okay, they were meant to be antagonists in this episode, but it feels like some people struggle to accept that. Not saying you think this way, maybe that's why you said "at first"! Just giving my two cents about what i constantly see

To answer a couple of your questions regarding character design: Fizz is an imp but he has mechanical arms and legs, his replicas are the only ones fully robotic. Ozzie is based on a rooster, since those have multiple chickens as partners and are know to be very lustful animals.
Take a note of the little bow Stolas gives Blitz just before he drives away. It comes up again later. Nothing major, but it gives some insight in how Stolas sees Blitz.
Yes. He also calls him Blitz, not “Blitzy.” And he dresses up for their “date.” Decades of training that “they” are beneath him just doesn’t stick. Unfortunately, Blitz isn’t in any shape to notice that.
The others are robots, most notable difference is that their eyes glow like lights without pupils whereas the og fizzarolli has normal eyes, the og fizzarolli has robotic arms and legs but is still a normal hellborn imp
So, the situation with episode 8 was complicated but... here goes:
Episode 7 was the season finale part 1 and episode 8 was the season finale part 2.
episode 8 was postponed due to legal issues with Kesha (Who voices one of the characters) that made the episode come out some time after season 2 had already started.
Vivsie said that she didn't wan't to disappoint fans if the highly awaited part 2 flopped so she just made it it's own separate episode.
And that's why episode 7 has finale in the title.
Also, Fizz is an amputee so he has robotic limbs.
That explains the whirring.
Also episode 8 is more of a fun wrap-up party to S1, episode 7 is really the proper finale, story-wise
still the episode 8 plays directly after the ep. 7 so it make sense to watch it before season 2 (tough first episode of second season is also kind of continuation)

It’s so sad, bc it’s so obvious that both Blitzo and Stolas feel like they’ve been humiliated in front of the other. But it’s pretty clear that Blitzo thinks Stolas feels humiliated by HIM, rather than IN FRONT of him. The misunderstandings between them are so painful
Details to note in this episode, that you didn’t mention, but are good to keep in mind:
- In the photos of Blitzø and Fizz from their childhood, Blitzø does not have any of the white patches on his face/skin that he has when he’s older. It’s important to note that imp scar tissue is white.
- Also in those photos, Fizz has normal limbs, whereas now, his limbs are clearly robotic prosthetics. Also, Fizz’s horns were fairly large as a teen, whereas now he wears a floppy Jester’s hat that vaguely resembles his horns. And his face is completely white, apart from his still red nose, and it’s likely not makeup.
- In the photo of Blitzø, his sister, and their mom, look at the necklace that his mom is wearing, and compare it with the choker that Blitzø always wears.
Episode 8 is a legal smorgusboard of issues. But yes, episode 8 is the ACTUAL final episode of the season.
If you want to know Vivienne gained popularity with a Kesha song. When she made Helluva Boss, she had Kesha write a song for a character in the next episode. UNFORTUNATELY the lawyers that own Kesha didnt want her singing the song she wrote. And the LEGAL battle therein becomes why episode 8 of season 1 didnt release until the date of episode 7 of season 2
It released between episodes 4 and 5 of season 2, not episode 7.
There hasn't been a direct connection established between Ozmodius and Valentino...but, in theory, he'd be under his jurisdiction in some manner. As for Oz himself, I believe he's supposed to be a rooster, or a 'cock' so to speak.
I don't actually think there is that connection between Val and Oz. Oz's jurisdiction is the Lust ring. Valentino cannot leave Pride. He is stuck there, just like all other sinners. He has established himself as the porn overlord in Pride, like some kind of Chinese bootleg of Lust, but he still falls under the jurisdiction of Pride. If a Sin is going to deal with him, it has to be Lucifer, because Valentino is confined to Lucifer's turf.
It depends how the jurisdiction system works in that regard. I could see that being an interpretation, but it's just as possible that anything falling under/succeeding or profiting with 'lustful' means Oz would have a hand in. Does it happen via location like turfs or is there a deeper system of connection? To my knowledge it hasn't been specified either way.@@helenanilsson5666
I don't think Sins can intervene in rings that are not their own. And if they could, I doubt Ozzie would let Valentino do what he does how he does it. We knew well that Asmodeous despises love potions and non-consensual relationships; Valentino is the complete opposite of Ozzie's values.
I believe it was confirmed that Valentino intentionally copies Asmodeus’ look, down to the imp “servant.” He can’t leave the Pride Ring, but it doesn’t mean that he doesn’t know what the Spirit of Lust is or looks like.
Blitzo breaks my heart this episode. We learned about his self-destructive tendencies/intimacy issues in Truth Seekers (last ep) but seeing it in action this ep is painful. If only he let himself see a version of Stolas that loves him outside of their sexual encounters, he might find the intimacy that he desperately tries to find/vicariously live through in Millie & Moxxie, but Blitzo is so unable to accept that anyone could possibly love him that he doesn't see it. And the way he's scratched himself out of every photo on his wall... man, I just wanna give this little imp guy a hug

Watching this episode you realise that Asmodeus (at least of all the deadly sins we’ve seen so far) is probably the kindest.
He didn’t kick moxxie out straight away for singing a love song in a strictly lustful lounge and even tried to kindly (with a little teasing but still) redirect him and even give an example of what he could sing, giving him a second chance.
And then moxxie ignored him and Millie injured his employee, like Asmodeus could’ve killed them with a snap of his fingers for that if he wanted to but instead just kicked them out AAAAND LET MOXXIE FINISH HIS SONG FIRST.

Fizzaroli, Pentious and Adam are all voiced by Alex Brightman and he always does some kind of funny sounds when singing, like the trumpet for Fizz or Adams guitar solo in hazbin, does the same for other unrelated work too.

It's tough for me to pick a favourite Helluva Boss episode but this one is at least top three. It's got everything! It firmly establishes the emotional tone for season 2, the cast is STACKED, the musical number slaps, it's everything.

My fave part of the episode is when Stolas is so embarrassed by what is happening that he hides behind the menu. He doesn't stick up for their relationship. And then it cuts to Blitz reaction to that. He looks down at the floor in shame. That single action by Stolas confirmed Blitz thoughts about their relationship that it was embarrassing and lust based. Which in turn makes Blitz shut off and distance himself from any of Stolas' advances after that moment. In his mind Stolas loving him isn't genuine even though we all know from seeing Stolas go for the phone when seeing Blitz is calling is showing that he loves him.

I understand where both Stolas and Blitzø are coming from, and why each of them have communication issues. It always irritates me when reactors or commentators place the blame solely on only one of them, when they both have things to work on before their relationship can reach a healthy place.

To answer your question about episode 7 vs 8 being the finale: episode 8 was meant to be the finale, but there were a ton of legal issues due to a certain guest star (who you'll see when you get there) and copyright ownership of the songs their character sings. So instead of making everyone wait for those legalities to be settled, they just made episode 7 the finale and moved on to season 2, releasing episode 8 much later once they were able to.
You'll learn why Fizz makes those whirring noises in episode 2x06...along with a bunch of your other questions.

Other than the fire this doesn't match at all.
Stolas hid his face due to the stigma of a royal having infatuations with a low class demons like imps that’s mostly considered the help shameful and taboo. Stolas hiding himself behind the menu and not standing up for him out of possible embarrassment made Blitz feel his fears where valid that he’s just a shameful plaything in to Stolas even if its not really the case which is why Blitz said all he cared about was the s**.
Asmodeus is a Rooster themed demon since he’s not only a one of the seven prince of hell but a king in Ars Goetia since Viv decided to make all or most of the Ars Goetia in the her universe bird theme demons and related as a noble family Asmodeus was made a rooster. In real life the Ars Goetia aren’t demons aren’t all birds Amodeus traditionally not being one but she keeps the elements of him having three his main and the 2 on the sides of his crest fiery fluff thing one being a ram or goat a bull and the middle head of a man designed here into that shadowy rooster head.
Did I miss that? I only remember the moment at the table where Blitz was the one I saw pull his hand away from Stolas who was reach out to him? There was the moment when they were roasting Stolas about his life decisions and he hid behind the menu.

My favourite Helluva boss character is Stolas. Asmodeus is good character too, but most of Helluva boss characters are very good. Same goes to the Hazbin Hotel characters, just two great shows man.

Trust me, every episode after this just GOES, and hits you on some emotional level and every episode after episode 4 just moves the emotions of the characters, their development and backstory, and plot forward. It just GOES, it’s SO good. You’ll definitely cry and get emotional throughout season 2 as season 2 just HITS, EVERY EPISODE. It’s insane, I love it 😭 and I NEVER expected it from this show that was just so silly and fun at first 😂 like I didn’t expect to get emotional and so invested in this show, but then post episode 4 goes and DAMN 😖. I love that you already seem to have a pretty good grasp on the plotlines and emotional baggage that is being sprinkled in through the episodes. If you haven't already watched it I would advise you to watch and pay attention to the credits of episode 8 to see the 'full' name of the new character introduced as it doesn't get said out loud at all, only their nickname.

So about Ozzie: hes one of the Kings of hell from Solomon's key and his design, just like Stolas, is based of his actual description in the key of Solomon. His description is as follows: "He appeareth with Three Heads, whereof the first is like a bull the second like a man and the third like a ram; he bath also the tail of a serpent, and from his mouth issue Flames of Fire. His feet are webbed like those of a goose." so overall he's a bird made of fire with a bull and ram skull on either side that has the shape of a man when using less fire. Love that his design matches his og description
This episode really hits hard. It made me cry. Everything Ozzie and Fizz said about Stolas and blitz’s love lives is the truth. Plus blitz’s biggest fear is that he’s going to die alone and no one is going to care. 😢😢😢

To answer the question on the skulls, the design of Asmodeus is based off of the literal Mythology - he is Rooster themed with 3 heads: one as a goat and one as a Lion. Those are the extra heads you’re seeing in his Maine.
Honestly it’s still fascinating how they design characters like him and Lucifer imo anyway hope that helped 😂✨
This is my favorite episode of Hazbin/Helluva Boss because A) I'm in love with Stolas and his adorable (partially) unrequited crush on Blitz, B) I love Moxxie and Millie's relationship, C) The House of Asmodeus song is not only musically great but such a great story moment for how it captures relationships between so many characters: Blitz and Stolas, Stolas and Asmodeus, Asmodeus and Fizzarollie, Fizarrollie and Blitz, Blitz and Verosika, Blitz and Moxxie, Moxxie and Millie. So many relationships are going on in the song and it's very well-done.
Now you've met the first of the Sins (well aside from Luci), Asmodeus, embodiment of lust! And yeah, those looks between him and Fizz weren't quite as subtle as they thought xD
I loved you looking through all the photos and stuff in the end, there's some good shit there! Can't wait for you to see certain later episodes

One thing Vivzipop has put a lot of effort into is incorporating a lot of demonology into the the setting. The Sins all use their glyphs from the Ars Goetia, while many of the designs are inspired by the descriptions of Demon Lords in the Dictionnaire Infernal. And the structure of Hell is inspired by the Divine Comedy, specifically Dante's Inferno, though the number of Circles differs from 9 in the poem to 7 corresponding to the 7 Deadly Sins.
Asmodeus (or Ozmodeus) in the Dictionnaire Infernal is described as having 3 heads. A Bull, a Man, and a Goat.
Asmodeus is a 3 headed demon rooster, and a member of the Aries Goetia. He outranks all other Goetia because he is also the Prince of Lust, ranking him just under Charlie in the hierarchy of Hell. Season 2 gets into what happened between Fizz and Blitz, Fizz's arms and legs are mechanical but he is an Imp. Episode 8 got cut short but basically covers the party Loona went to and takes place during and a bit after this one. Plot stuff doesn't happen in it but it's a treat.
Ozzie is I believe like a bird themed demon see his feather, I think he’s a rooster which fits

Eppisode 8 was supposed to be the original end of season, but got delayed due to having to work out legal complications regarding Kesha voicing Beelzebub. Ultimately she ended up voicing the spoken parts only, and they brought in someone else (a sound alike) to sing the Beelzebub's song.

One of the interesting yet frustrating things about the Vivzie-verse is how many details of it go unexplained in the shows and can only be found out by going online. On the one hand it's a good strategy to encourage engagement with the community, but it still leaves people confused.
Ozzie's design comes from a rather complicated description of Asmodeus where he has 3 different animal heads. Not everyone loves his look, but then again everybody likes to post their own redesigns of Vivzie's characters so that's nothing new.
I think this is the ep where we first see what the show is really about and how messed up Blitz actually is. He only feels comfortable when those he loves can't escspe. He kind of holds his employees hostage and jokingly smothers and harrases them. He doesn't trust any arrangement that isn't transactional.

The little 2 shadow faces on the sides of Ozzie's real head are a nod to Asmodeous real life depictions where he is shown to have 3 heads... one human, one Goat and one Bull.
Yes, the Fizzarolli shown in this episode is the original, and like you saw in Blitz's pictures he was born as a normal Imp... but now he seems to have robotic augmentations which would make him a cyborg.
You also saw the Elevator that Hellborn demons use to travel between the 7 rings of Hell.... given it's clearly angelic design it is almost certain that Lucifer is the one who created it.
The Rings of Hell are layered like this:
1.- Pride (Red)
2.- Wrath (Orange)
3.- Gluttony (Yellow)
4.- Greed (Green)
5.- Lust (Dark Blue)
6.- Envy (Purple)
7.- Sloth (Pink)
Blitz always spies on Millie and Moxxie because he wants to feel a little bit of the warmth and love they have for each other... even if it is from afar. He doesn't view himself as worthy of love therefore he is afraid of being close with others.
This also ties with the last scene of the episode where we see that Blitz has scratched himself out of all the pictures... which is clearly a sign that he hates himself.

The reason why Blizo’s hallucination was so sad and harsh is because he hates himself. He sad and scared about being alone and dying alone. Which I think that’s sad and sweet. Also why he scribbled his vase out of the pictures is because, he hates himself.😢😢❤❤😊😊

I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet but Ozzie is a rooster, and I'm not sure if it's confirmed or not but fans guessing he has some relations to Stolas (cuz both birds lol). Ozzie's skull like things on his feathers/fur are actually based on the original Asmodeus which has 3 heads , the sides being a goat and a bull. Fans are also guessing that Valentino "stole"/tries to resemble Ozzie's style because maybe he's looking up to him at some degree by Ozzie being the embodiment of lust.
Asmodeus in the source material Viv used is supposed to have 3 heads, the head of a man, goat and bull, which is why he has the two heads in his fluff!

I'm so so glad you went back to look at all the pictures. I even missed the first one with Stolas for a while but I definitely think it gives you a huge glance into his real feeling for Stolas. So many people missed it and think blitz is just an asshole. The fact that he took it while Stolas was asleep (something I think a lot of us can connect with) shows it's not just a performative picture. He really loves Stolas but because of his baggage and mental stuff he can't be open about it for fear of either hurting Stolas in the long run or getting rejected himself. Gaah can't wait for you to finish the series lol so no spoilers. The next one is 8 btw, you get to actually watch it in order unlike most of us 🤣 also yes Kesha is in the next one but to be clear she doesn't sing the song, just voices the character. Another girl does an impression of her for the song so it does sound very similar (it's all tied to why the episode was suuuuper late).
My theory for why the ring stations look so angelic is because they were created by Heaven to seperate the demons in Hell and create factions with rings in hopes that it would cause them to have conflicts with each other and leave Heaven alone. It would make each ring want to feel superior to the last and compete.

Oh my god I swear you are the BEST reactor I’ve EVER seen! Im always absolutely terrified to see people react to this episode because so many people just rip on Blitz and don’t have the slightest understanding of his character, but you see him perfectly and it makes me so damn happy!

The "skulls" in Asmodeus's plummage are actually a neat reimagining of his original description, wherein he has three heads, each of a different animal.
Though I'm not sure where the rooster imagery comes from, since traditionally he is more or less a mismatch of different animal and human parts.
The creator is said he is a rooster, he's even called one in a later episode.
