I love feeling the music pulse throughout my body as I listen. It’s amazing at live shows but can be good at home with large speakers too. Nothing sweeter in the world than feeling the vibrations of the band you’re listening to.
I feel like if her and Al Cisnero(the bassist from SLEEP & OM) were to make a track or an EP together it would be the most perfect pieces of music that exists 🙌 They both have soft vocals and do a drone Stoner rock folk type style that goes from quiet to EXTREMELY LOUD over and over. SLEEP was known for having the loudest shows back in the early 90’s. 20-30 full stacks each for guitar and bass and it was said to be louder than a jet engine ✈️🔊🔊🎸🎶 Sleep also has a song called “DOPESMOKER” that is 1 hour & 12 minutes long. The Orange amp company made custom amps called “GREEN AMPS” which were green for the pot theme and I believe Matamp was the company that worked with Orange to make that happen. They ended up selling all the amps for pot money xD Seriously though, a mashup with them 2 droning out and them getting super loud would be a dream come true!!!
Oh man I remember seeing her when she was on the Abyss tour. I was in NC at the time and the venue held like 50 people. I got there 3 hours early. Got to watch sound check. Met The band and got all my vinyls signed. Then got to be within arms reach of her pedal board and mic stand lol. It was a dream come true! After the show we hung out at her Kerch table and talked for right around 2 hours. Shared some songs of mine that I recorded with her as the inspiration behind it. Got to hear 2 rough recordings of songs that didn’t make it on Abyss and they were great! She’s so down to earth. We talked about our sleep paralysis issues and things we used to help it. It was the perfect way to see her live for the first time that’s for sure. I’d been a fan for YEARS. Apokolypsis was the VERY FIRST vinyl I ever purchased in my lifetime. It’s signed and framed on my wall now haha.
1:10 when the light in your eyes goes out for the last time when your hands are tied pale on pale and mind on mind when your body is swollen with blood and ocean floor is swollen with sun when the light in your eyes goes out for the last time... _when your mind is open_

Feels like I am slipping, noticing the delay and gap in his speech. Unexpected twists and the darkness of knowing what I don't want to believe but I can see is the truth. Awareness of others. Feels like I am slipping.
+Esta Fortaleza When I saw her she started screaming into her semihollow gibson, closed the show with self-oscillating feedback loops from it. Awesome.
There aren't enough watts in the world to make this song as loud as I want it to be.

If the lady from the first Sabbath record sleeve made music it would look and sound like this
Dude that just gave me chills.
Saw her for the fifth time recently and I had to go on a listening hiatus afterwords because I couldn’t overcome how fucking good she was live.
She's amazing live. I felt like I was tripping on shrooms, during Halloween.

Such a beautiful and harrowing song
I also really prefer this to the album version. Just saw them live and they are one of the few bands that I think are better that way. Goosebumps.
I was just introduce to her today by my Nephew. Amazing! I can add here to my playlist along with Jesse Sykes and Cat Power.
Breathtakingly beautiful..........
She’s good! I’m impressed.

Oldschool Chelsea Wolfe is the lovechild of Methamphetamine Blues era Mark Lanegan and Rid of Me era PJ Harvey and it's perfect. Hence the collabs ...

Feels like I am slipping, noticing the delay and gap in his speech. Unexpected twists and the darkness of knowing what I don't want to believe but I can see is the truth. Awareness of others. Feels like I am slipping.
this version is amazing but it's just not the same without the blood-curdling shriek at the end :(
