When I close my eyes and listen to her music, it's like being shot into another dimension. A dimension of pure melancholic nostalgia and blissful serenity. A demon with an angel's voice.
This is certainly my song. The surreal of this beautiful but yet disturbing song is a instant masterpiece. It fits the mood of a dying world we live in. 5 stars
I got to see her tonight, the performance sounded EXACTLY like this. She uses a loop pedal for her voice so she can create that haunting choir effect. I also got to talk to her too, she's really nice!
This is one of her darkest songs. I've been listening to her for years, but just realised that if I had to play that song as a member of her band (I'm a musician), I don't know how many times I would be able to do that. It takes a toll on you. Bear in mind that in live situations it goes on FAR longer than this.
Not to mention she is into Thelema witchcraft, I'm not sure if i would be comfortable as a musician knowing that her music is evoking really dark spirits. but aside i think shes on the Bjork path, but in her own way, through witchcraft. I think she has a wonderful voice, but her recent work is focused on end of the world themes, and i believe its no coincidence she came up with American Darkness, just before COVID. and her label has alot of Illuminati vibes.
@@zoegillespie1196 she has always been into the goth aestethic tho (by that I mean since her main releases) and is indeed into wicca, which isn't an evil type of practice, if you believe in that sort of stuff, but more like a nature and spiritual way of living. I've been following Sargent House for years now, and I have never felt like they have an iluminati vibe? Besides they have plenty different sounds and aestethic to explore within their signed artists
Fuck! I sure do enjoy this as much as I enjoy my Black Metal; whatever she doing its working! I wish the Room 205 videos of Chelsea Wolfe were one whole video, anyone else agree?
Wow, I'm loving Chelsea Wolfe more and more everytime I hear one of her performances. I sincerely she stops by MN sometime, I would kill to see a performance like this one.

We are grateful for the water it provides. It allows us to bathe in it and rest on the banks in San German. Time changes us in subtle ways. The reward of the moment is instantaneous. Now I drift to other walls and can’t be caught. The flash is over here and then over there. We are out of reach like windblown pages. Sometimes we don’t return but our memory lives on. I will arise to that pale blue eyes sky that looks to the right and smiles inside.
Time sinks until it has sunk all the way. Sub consciousness closes in enough to be external. Where have the roads gone now? Afterglow remains and lines push me side to side. I sink and let go. My nervous system’s channels finally rest at the pond of passerby’s. we are in the well of silence gulping all we can. Arrows point to birth. The dyes of ocean skies dye my hair as you sleep. I have been for getting you because it is something we can discover apart from one another.
Chelsea Wolfe is a genius with creating an atmosphere, and this is definitely one of my favorite live performances of the past decade.
When I close my eyes and listen to her music, it's like being shot into another dimension. A dimension of pure melancholic nostalgia and blissful serenity. A demon with an angel's voice.
I think that i love you too 🖤

I crossed that bridge and I can't go back.
She absolutely killed it in Birmingham a couple weeks ago with this song. They were all great.
Love this performance. I "discovered" Wolfe about 2 years ago and was spellbound instantly. One of my favorite artists.
don't you ever cross that
bridge in your mind again
it's like a movie screen
Just wish I knew what that meant
+Ladygaga121fan perhaps it means that once you have 'crossed the bridge', all the memories and images return
This make sense just in her head, not is possible :DDD
@@Ladygaga121fan Whatever you want it to mean.
I really hope, I never will again!

Queen.
If Chelsea and Bjork did a song together my mind would be able to handle it.
You could throw GRIMES in there with them and make it a supergroup.
my God, Chelsea, my God... I love you..
Just checking if it's still one of the greatest pieces of art, music, performance and visual composition from the last decade, still checks.
Yep.
Thank you Internet
Haunting!
Awe inspiring! Looks like there will be two more in this Room 205 series released later in the month!
I LOVE YOU CHELSEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Voices keep carrying the day.
wow, that was an amazing rendition. Spellbound
Bathe me in her sad wisdom
Here where melancholy feeds us
These notes are drawn of truer bones
As close to death breeds life
As broad as knowing this
She's an great singer, undoubtedly.
This is like the most beautiful video on youtube!

They were already in England on the 29th of October. They're on tour with Russian Circles.

awesome photography, great performance!
brilliant performance
The bait and switch of the happy intro, transitioning to the disturbing song is fucking comedy, and genius.
Who woulda thought a song with one line would be so amazing.

After watching the very disturbing movie "Come and See", I relate to these lyrics. That movie is about wwii, it is Horrific.

Those screams freaked me out. I had to paused it a few times. I though there was a cat outside.
