Bandung Bondowoso who was in love then did it with the help of genies, when 999 temples had been built Rorojongrang sabotaged it by hitting the rice pounder so that the cock crowed and burned straw to make light as if the sun had risen as a sign that it was morning. Rorojongrang counted the number of temples and there were only 999, then Bandung Bondowoso did not accept it and cursed Rorojongrang to become a temple to complete it to 1000.
