- Do you love pixel art style games but are tired of farming simulators? Spirit Tea might just be the perfect game for you! In this video, I'll give you a detailed overview of the game and share my honest opinions after playing it for nearly 15 hours.
Spirittea is available on PC, Nintendo switch, Xbox and Playstation. If you are an XBOX player it is available on gamepass.

I don’t understand why some people don’t love the art style, it very stylish, edgy and quirky really reminds me of Undertale.
The only thing I dislike is the character portraits when speaking to them, it should feel a bit more cartoonish rather than look like you’ve drawn over real photos.
Love the the animation, it’s obvious you’ve put a lot of effort in that.
If it was in early access and got some feedback from it, all the downsides would’ve been easily fixed.

I also make my own floss cards! I used to have the same problems with the bending and tearing of the holes. I now laminate my thread cards which makes them a lot more sturdy and definitely tearproof. I use cardstock though, because I know for sure it isn't too thick for the laminator (and it's pretty). My laminatorsleeves are matte, so I can write the numbers on them. I hope this info is helpful 😅

I've been playing for 30 hours and I had no idea I was supposed to write the book lmao. I was wondering what the chapters were on the collections- I thought it had to do with the tomes.

I saw the cover of this and it locked amazong. But seeing the pixel style and colors kind of put me off...but it does seem nice so I might try it out!
This game seems SO CUTE - but DAMN, I hate pixel art! Bummer! If this game weren't pixel art, I would def at least try it! lol. Still, it seems like a nice game! Great review, too, with very nice criticisms! Hopefully the dev sees them and addresses them! :D

I downloaded the game not knowing what it was about but I do enjoy farming games and similar games. I quit because of how long and boring the beginning was. I just age up and now I'm watching this to see what the game is actually about
I might check it out sometime for the switch. I just got Pokemon Snap, but it's not Pokemon, it's an indie title, called Beasts. It's better than Pokemon Snap imo.
Played last night for about an hour or so. Motion sickness was high. I need to sit back further. I really liked it. Bath house is grinding too much.

I just purchased this game and I'm not really sure how to feel bout it thus far🧐😫. I fudged it all up from the start by making mistakes and your video pointed that out to me so, ty 4 this video. First of all i didn't get the cat spirit at the beginning 😂... Tthhheeennnn the chick gave me the tea leaves i didn't receive them cuz my inventory was full😳, soooo basically i went home to make the tea that when i got there i didn't even have😂. So, i have just now started the game over. There's just 1 thing i need ta ask ya, how the heck do i make moolongs? I also play roots of Pacha❤ love it so far

I loved the looks of this game so much that I just preordered the physical version on Switch from Video Games Plus (VGP).

If you specifically love pixel art styles it is really difficult to look at this game without getting irritated.
Its harsh, but the style and fidelity is so inconsistent and poor that its easily this games biggest obvious detractor.
Its crazy though that it took this long for a game to take up this premise, there is an incredibly strong draw towards the idea of running a Spirited away inn.
I almost agree? There is something with the style I dislike, but I think it comes down to the character models? The buildings and details all around are really visually appealing and I do really dig, but something in the player model and NPC charelacters remind me of something like the game Kindergarten instead of a game like stardew valley which is what I would prefer the characters to look like. But I think the rest of the game visually is solid, and I've been dying for a spirited away kind of management game! Travelers Rest was good, but I kept thinking how good it would be if it was a bathhouse and had ghibli vibes
The cheap/lazy pixels art and the depressing brown-ish color palette are a deal breaker for me. I could have maybe pass on the lazy graphics but at least I need a colorful (mario-like color palette) game to feel relaxed and feel a positive vibe from the game
More colour would be nice!
Tbh the visuals didn't bother me well playing you can get past that easy once you are into it it's the controls and map and menu interface that really need the wrok
@@andrewchausse-jg6ui I do agree but I think going from trying to play on keyboard and mouse to then using a controller may have explained why it wasn't as much of an issue for me because playing with keyboard made it so hard!
Idk what it is about thia game but it just looks horrible. Like visually. Its unpleasant to look at. Hard pass based on visuals alone
