You can literally hear the tone of the song get darker towards the end which is great artistically considering how the game plays out with the ghosts becoming evil as the lights get darker. Absolutely LOVE this rendition!!

Sandopolis was never one of my fave zones but have always liked the tune, and its a tune quite under represented on the RUclipss, so thank you for correcting that! Awesome mix as always :)
As a kid I hated this zone but loved the music. Sounds a little like Sailor Moon theme in some parts

Sandopolis isn't one of my favorite zones in the game, but you can't argue that it didn't have one hell of a track. And your cover just makes it even more kick ass!

You super weren't kidding around with that last video about bass mixing huh? Nice cover, I do think you should get a bit more ambitious with your bass lines if you're gonna mix it up that high - and Sandopolis Zone has this unique almost apocalyptic/doom-y feel to it that I really would've loved to see a bass solo with - but still really enjoyed this one.

@@longestsoloever I don’t know the first thing about mixing, but I think the mix is very very very nice. Some of the drums are just slightly too quite in some parts and I think the bass is nice. It could be a bit louder in everything except the chorus. That’s super minor and I personally love how it sounds.

How did you get that tone on the first line though? I love that pseudo-sympathetic string sound!
Thanks! It’s a couple things. The guitars are doubling each other an octave apart, which is always a super cool tone. They’re also doubled with a bit of pitch shifting, widening the sound a little bit and adding some cool harmonic content.

I did like this cover a lot better. I followed you about 95% of the way on this one. My only real critique on this one would be the balance. You got this heavy foundation that wouldn't get out of the way when you were gonna do your solo. They basically hogged your "center stage" and after a flawless run otherwise, I really wish i could have cranked that solo up to 11. Also, I appreciate that formula of you giving it almost straight laced at the beginning and then branching out after. Otherwise, well done.
