Very impressive for a Stage 1, even Shitech was not able to reach this power on a Stage2 remap for mine. B58 is such a beast. With my previous 435 N55 I got only 365hp in Stage1…

The interior is truly beautiful and high-quality as well but I really, REALLY dislike that screen. I really miss my button-based climate and seat heating controls and my 8 shortcut buttons (why the hell did they take those out???). Not to mention the fact that everything is now an app icon on a very cluttered "home screen". iDrive 8 really sucks in my opinion, I just can't get used to it
German Wikipedia says it still is 4.4 for the sedan. They haven't changed the engine for the facelift. The only change was in November 2020 for better CO2 emission and slightly diffrent max Newtonmeter ranges

In M340i is B58D and 540i is B58C. Your engine is adjusted for more economy for example have exhaust manifold cooled with water. You can upgrade M Performance package with more power, cooling and sport exhaust.

Can anyone provide some numbers on the fuel economy on this beast. It very fast looks nice but its less than 400hp and its 6cyls . Economy even when constantly driven full throttle or 70% or more throttle shouldn’t be as bad as a 500hp v8 . Correct me if i am wrong

So many fake things about this. Speaker engine noise, rev counter lying to you on up and down shifts, fake boom noise played through the speakers to make the ign cut sound more dramatic and make the shifts seem faster than they really are. The instrument cluster is illegible, who the fuck designed that?! At least it looks acceptable without that ridiculous grille bullshit.
@@DMCarReviews not the limiter, the tach. It jumps to the target RPM during a shift while the engine is catching up. Audi/vw started this years ago with their dsg. Guess bmw does it too now. Shouldn't need fake engine noise with a turbo straight 6
4.3 seconds in a normal daily driver sedan is gorgeous :D One of the best modern BMWs.

I have the 2020 M340i with Stage 1 , 470 HP and 650Nm, 0-100 in 3,65 and 100-200 in 8.9 sec. Top speed is about 304 kmh

German cars are electronically limited. Most BMWs to 155mph. they have been for quite some time now

Those times are definitely slow for this car unless they’re at a super high elevation. I got 3.8 0-60 and 12.07 in the 1/4 mile. 2020 bone stock.
