Thank you for this! I always struggled to pronounce words growing up, even now, and despite speech exercises at home I still find it hard to enunciate words without a subtle lisp. It’s also hard to stick my tongue out. I always thought I was just being silly because I don’t have an aggressive form, but I understand that it is very much real! :)
The oldest person I’ve seen who had a severe tongue tie was actually in their 30s. But that’s really uncommon for it to be diagnosed that late in life.
