Great detailing. The buffer stops with stop lights are fantastic. You have a good eye for realism.

Great update! the detailing really does start to bring the layout to life, I'm getting close to the detailing myself but it is quite time consuming painting all the details, but so worth it in the end. I didn't realise that Ratio did the lineside cabinets they look really nice! and I'd totally forgot that Peco do the AWS in N-gauge so I will have to get some of them for a future layout. All the best Tony.

It does indeed! And yes detail does make all the difference after the long process of painting, especially if you decide to paint the rails too, thanks for the comment and glad this was helpful :)

Great update - you have a good eye for detail. I'll be repainting my own AWS ramps as I wasn't sure what were the right colours. The buffers are a good alternative to the Peco one - so will be ordering one for my bay platform. Cheers Euan

Hi some nice detailing added there. May I suggest darkening down the ballast as it it does look quite clean against the grimy bit between the rails. Check out Tim at the Scrapline he does some stunning track weathering.
Clearly it’s your choice ultimately but food for thought maybe?

Perhaps at some point yes, the weathering does stand out a fair bit, I'll take a look at that channel cheers

Can I just point out that you wouldn’t have the stop signs at the end of the bay platforms as the buffer stops and lights would be your signal so to speak..some bay platforms have markings on the platform for drivers to stop at or it’s just 6 feet from the buffers if no car stop or mark..other than that it’s looking good

Ah thank you very much, I may take them out then, just thought it was A little extra detail I could add, cheers though! :)

Great Deltan your details are looking good, just don’t want you to go to a lot of effort and then have something that’s not prototypical spoiling your efforts..at Paddington we have the “landing zones”where to have your cab in,at Henley on Thames,Basingstoke platform 5 it’s just use your judgement for the 6 feet to the buffers,Newbury we have stop car markers in the bay.
