    Einhander and RType Delta are works of art. They transcend the shooter genre. The rest are fun too, but those two are on another level. And I can play them on my PS3!

    Great list. I would add Harmful Park to it. It’s a fantastic and funny shmup for the PS1.

      You are right! Harmful park is part of the import shmup video along with other great import ps1 shooters, check it out!

    Geki-oh The Shooting King is my first shmup game. This, Einhänder, R-Type Delta, Thunder Force V and Mobile Suit Force are my favorites.

    X2: No Relief - One of the first PS1 games I ever played, surprised it's not on this list tbh.

      This video is only showing the US library. Sadly X2 didn’t see a release in the US but was released both in Japan and Europe. Check back for the import SMUPS library!

    There is no Gurentai in this list, man. It is probably the best shmup for PS1.

      It’s on the best import shmup list (part 2). This video was US released shmups only, the two part import video series has a bunch of other great shooters!
