They are a great bit of history and they look the part. We are taking good care of her as she is a special vehicle. Thanks for watching and hope your having a good day in Texas!
@AntiZOGZone Yes a bit underpowered similar to every ww2 vehicle but has amazing traction in off road conditions. They are a rare vehicle compared with other Dodge Weapons Carriers or Jeeps with only about 20,000 bieng made, and more expensive. Mine has a top speed of 50mph/80kmh. Both my Studebaker 6x6 and Willys Jeep mb are slower by about 10mph. They are a bit underpowered as well. Both also have flat heads. Unlike the other Dodge Weapon Carriers the 6x6 has both high and low range, useful in heavy sand. The 6x6 version was born because the US went from a 8 man squad to a 12 man squad. Once youv driven one you'll smile for a week.

Nice old Dodge 👍
Thanks.
There is a double clutch. 1:10 The Soviet Gaz-52 truck has the same engine sound at high revs, the Gaz-52 engine is a copy of the Dodge engine
Nice! Did not know that. It would be a treat to drive a Gaz 52!
What a lot of weight and wheels to turn for a Flathead 6 Cylinder engine.

Question to you...WHY do all the WC 6x6 have only 2 wheels at both of the rear axels, whereas GMC CCKW has 4 wheels at both of them??
To carry the extra weight. More tyre's = more carrying capacity.
Keeping that beast or are you a reseller? May need extra Jerry cans!
Hey mate we just collect and restore old vehicles this is actually the first running vehicle we've gotten but was to good to pass up!
