Hello, unfortunately I haven’t test this device myself so I can’t say, but in general I don’t think that low power mode will stop the fans. If your computer is overheating they will start to cool it down anyway 💻
You can do it through the Shortcuts app. Once you open any shortcut script click on the "i" icon on the top right corner and select pin to menu bar 👨🏼💻
I found that low power mode degrades the Speech>Start Speaking feature's "upgrade to enhanced quality" (text to speech service), to a lower quality speech, with worse pronunciation. And overall it's very unclear what else the low-power mode disables or degrades...
@@OneByteAcademyOfficial I should say significantly degrades it. From a quite astonishing result to a mediocre robot voice. It would be cool if someone were to find all the things this "low power mode" degrades, so I could better judge whether and when it is worth it. More often saving time and getting the highest quality is worth more than prolonging the usage.
@@xypleth I think that the only purpose of the low power mode is to just save the battery when you are running low but you still need the Mac for a bit longer🪫. It’s not something you would normally use just to save the power 🤷♂️
@@OneByteAcademyOfficial I agree completely. Only that some people promote this mode as a better way to use it, when just casually using the device to prolong battery and lose just a little of performance, and I can see the attraction to that. But there are unknown amount of feature and quality losses, which I haven't seen anyone address, unfortunately.
Thank you so much for your comment 🙏 yes I’m Czech, fighting with English in every video but trying my best to make videos useful, clear and easy to understand 👨🏼💻
mac os sonoma has made it even easier to identify if battery's on LPM using the built-in Batteries widget
Really good quality video thanks
Thanks! The SC is working
Thanks for this!
Hi, are you aware if the MacBook Pro 16inch, in low power mode turns the fans off?

@@OneByteAcademyOfficial that makes sense. Thank you.
@@OneByteAcademyOfficial It shouldn't overheat in low power mode, though. 😉
The 'Low Power Mode' shortcut link is for iOS only, is there one for Mac OS? Thanks
Last time I tried that It worked well on the Mac. It may depends from what device you click on it 💻
How do you get the Shortcuts icon on the menu bar?
