Hello everyone! As you're probably aware, the closed beta test for version 5.2 has started, and we have received some new information about the upcoming version 5.2 Archon rerun and the main event rewards. The source of this information is HomDGCat, one of the most reliable dataminers in the community.
Now, according to the data shared by HomDGCat, it seems like Zhongli will be getting his long-awaited rerun in version 5.2. And not just that, 4-star characters like Fischl and Heizou will be on his banner, and this seems pretty reliable since both of these 4-star characters haven't appeared on any banners in a while. Previously, it was speculated and reported that Venti would be getting his rerun in the next patch alongside Chasca or another character, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
You see, the only reason for predicting Venti's rerun in the 5.2 update was that the main event of 5.2 was expected to take place in Dragonspine, which is a part of Mondstadt, and he was somehow involved in that event. But according to the beta testers, the main event of 5.2 will now take place in Natlan instead. I don't know what's happening, but everyone seemed to be certain that the main event would take place in Dragonspine.
According to past leaks, the main event of 5.2 would have plotlines related to Durin and Wanderer, and probably Venti as well, and because of this, everyone thought Venti would get his rerun. Since Nahida is getting her third rerun in the current 5.1 patch, and the main event of 5.1 is taking place in Sumeru this time, it seemed likely. But I guess we were wrong.
Since the beta has started, it's now confirmed that the main event of 5.2 will take place in Natlan, and we'll get a free 4-star sword called the Calamity of the Blighted Springs during the event. It's a pretty good weapon, as it can provide a flat attack of 565 and a 27.6% attack bonus at level 90. Its passive effect will increase your normal and charged attack damage by 20% while protected by a shield, and the crit rate of your normal and charged attacks will increase by 8%. And this is just my guess, but the passive effect that mentions "while protected by a shield" could also be a hint at Zhongli's rerun in version 5.2.
Nevertheless, Wanderer will have a major role in the event because he has more than 140 voice lines during the event, which is a lot. But I'm not sure whether Durin will be involved in the event or not. However, if Wanderer is the main focus of the event, and Durin is with him, I guess they'll both be part of it. But what about Dragonspine? We all know Durin's heart is still beating in that place, and it's beating faster than usual. So if the main event is in Natlan, could that mean someone from Mondstadt is getting another part of their story quest? Like Albedo? Because he's the only one directly involved with Durin and related stuff.
A few days ago, another reliable source called Flying Flame posted their speculation for the 5.2 banners, and they included Albedo in that. Or am I reading too much into things? Well, anyway, it will be interesting to see how the story of Durin will unfold. And don't forget that he's expected to be a playable character in the future, so his story quest or any quest he's involved in is sure to be a banger. Not to forget Wanderer, who could also get a rerun and the next part of his story quest, especially since he's with Durin now. Another reliable source called Foul mentioned a few weeks ago that Wanderer will get his rerun in version 5.2, so I don't know.
But if we take all the pieces from different sources-the banners for version 5.2 will probably be Chasca, Zhongli, Wanderer, and Albedo or someone else. But this is not confirmed yet and is subject to change.

I was kinda hoping Venti wouldn’t run in 5.2 since a later rerun hopefully means we’ll get act 2 of his story quest finally. I was guessing he’d rerun in 5.4 or 5.5 depending on when Furina has her rerun.

3:29 I also wonder too if he’s going to have the chance to become a human and be playable I’ll be really happy for him I’m guessing that all of his features and abilities kits will be impressive and amazing like his most likely going to be a five star, pyro and sword user and he will be a medium size male think of him as a better five star version of Benett but in his gameplay movesets kits he will no be a healer for his teammates he will only heal himself but unlike the other characters he’ll be a attacker who actually takes damage to himself in his health life bar whenever he or his enemies are causing damage to him and the health life bar gets almost low he can immediately heals him like that similar in others games like Blade and Firefly from Honkai Star Rail and Danjin from Wuthering Waves also he can also turn into his dragon form when he’s off battlefield but that’s only if your running however he will turn back to a human when his stamina bar has gone lower he can also turn to dragon form when he’s also flying by pressing the jumping button two time then he can fly high and quickly similar to Scaramouche

Maybe they will do a 3-character banner with Mondstat characters for the second half? Not quite a Chronicled wish, but similar to the recent 3 character banner in Honkai that shared pity with the limited banner. Like Wanderer as 1 banner, and then a shared banner with Klee/Eula/Albedo rather than just albedo? Since previous leaks mentioned Klee potentially also.

Nooo. I forgot to wait for the leaks before pulling for the weapon banner. I did 160 pulls for 1 copy of xilonen and 130 for both rate up weapons. Currently have 30 pulls left. Hopefully zl is in 5.4😢
