  • Rusty Knife of the 18th-19th Century Restoration. This rusty old knife was found by a metal detector in the woods. I think the knife was made in the late 19th century or early 20th century. This knife has a classic shape. I decided to restore this antique rusty knife. I removed the rust from the blade and made a new handle.
    I hope you liked my restoration.

    Я б це назвав «класичний» ніж. Він не ковальский, а виготовлений на заводі. На заході ще з кінця 19 сторіччя, в моїх пра батьків були й 50-х, й 70-х. Здається, я й зараз бачив їх у продажу

    • @ReXtorer
      @ReXtorer  Месяц назад

      Так, це ніж заводського виконання. Ймовірно кінця 19-го початку 20-го ст

    А смысл, из никому не нужного старого ножа, сделать никому не нужный старый нож? 🤔

      My guess, @AKQJT, is to show the viewer(s) that it's possible to fix it up.

    Вітаю Друже. Не розумію послідовності ?! Спочатку піскоструй для зняття основного матеріалу а далі все інше. Дякую . Вподобайка і Слава ЗСУ !!!

      There are actually 200 years between the start of one century and the end of the next. Giving a range is far better than the clowns who say “this knife is from 1842” with no supporting evidence, don’t you think? There is no harm in telling precisely what you know, it is far more honest than making stuff up.

      I was born in 20th century and live in 21st century does that mean I’m a hundred…… or does it just mean I’m over 24? Could have been made between made between 1899 and 1901 it’d still be between 19th and 20th century.
