It takes the log from flight simulator. So if you are in developer mode the flights are not captured in the flight log so they will not be shown in this application. This app is great to clean up the rubbish in your flight sim log book. Great job, great video
I've been using flight log analyzer for a few months now, thanks for the review!! Learned a few things I didn't know before. Really loving the ability to clean up my logbook with all the crap MSFS misses for takeoffs and landings. I don't think there's anything else out there like this, great tool to have.
I completely agree with you on this app. I bought it about a week ago (after seeing a teaser for it in another one of your videos, I think), and it's SO impressive. I've bought other logbook apps but was never really impressed. I just recently retired from a career in IT, and thought about writing my own app, and then I found this one. My favorite feature is the ability to group flights by manufacturer and model, regardless of tail number. I have a real world pilot's license (although sadly, I haven't flown in many years), and I had another app that let me do the same kinds of things with my real logbook. Another nice thing is that I've bought MANY aircraft over the last few years, and this app gives me a nice way to see which ones I haven't flown very much, so I can give them a bit of love. 😁 I get how this app won't appeal to some people, but I for one was very happy to find out about it. Keep the great videos coming!
I have no time to watch the whole video right now but i have one question does this log register your flights when you are in "developer mode"? the default flight log does not.
Hi Darnedghost2008. Unfortunatly we just read the records that already are in the game's flight log. If the game doesn't record it, we won't be able to read them.
Hi Patrik, no other APP can read the game's logbook and show your the stats that FlightLog Analyzer shows. The other apps are only good if you keep them running and tracking all your flights.
Really tired of the “Must Have” titled RUclips videos. This is NOT a must have. It’s a convenience at most for those you might want additional information. And with 2024 coming this year, no way I would buy an add on like this right now. I like many of your videos, but please don’t label every new shiny tool as a must have. I filter out videos with that in the title as it comes across as clickbait.
Honestly his videos are slowly becoming a joke. You need to sell a product give it free to him and he will shill away. You can tell the difference between his early videos and now. I no longer trust him on any reviews because he no longer pays for his products. It would be great if he started labeling his content if it was given to him or he actually spent his own hard earned money on it like the rest of us.
