My favourite movie of all time is Back To The Future and I'm a time travel Sci Fi geek who first saw it as a teenager in the eighties. Despite all this I only found out about Huey Lewis playing the part you are referring too only a few months ago through a RUclips video although I've always known that he sung

Huey Lewis and the news were sort of unicorns. While other bands were following the crowd playing hard rock and heavy metal In flamboyant costumes, hair, and make up, HL&N came out clean-shaven in suits and singing wholesome, lighthearted, throwback, message music. It was refreshing, and it’s what made them stand out from the crowd. And it didn’t hurt that they were also great musicians and singers.
Love them. One of my fave all-time sing groups.

Is it just me or is Huey Lewis & The News extremely, ridiculously UNDERRATED. They are one of the Greatest Bands I've ever heard. This is one of their best songs ever. As far as I'm concerned, Like Daryl Hall & John Oates, Huey Lewis & The News never did a bad song. Jay and Amber already reacted to "The Power Of Love", "The Heart Of Rock N' Roll" and "I Want A New Drug" before this one. Jay & Amber need to react to "Hip To Be Square" next!

They are awesome. They were also never underrated. They were one of the biggest bands of their era, with their hilarious videos constantly in rotation on both MTV & VH1.

Been a fan of Huey Lewis & the News since I was a kid, I love their music.
Huey Lewis & his band were the definition of a polished group, they were so tight together but also gave themselves space to be spontaneous. That's the mark of a truly great band. That moment near the end of the video when a man was holding up a sign, "All You Can Eat $1.99", is a humorous reference to another fun song of theirs, "Bad is Bad". It's a great acapella song that you'll enjoy too. 🙂
This song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 on August 2, 1986 and this song went to number 1 for 3weeks and this was there biggest hit out of there 24 hit singles.
Reminds me of my parents. They had their 4th daughter end of May 1986 and used to sing this to each other, whilst dancing with us. I was only 5 at the time and hearing this song took me back to 1 of my earliest memories, so thankyou Rob Squad

Huey Lewis is massive crush from my younger days. This song was and is so fun.
My husband called this "our song". We love Huey! We saw him 5x in concert and our first date was a Huey Lewis and the News concert. So we consider them "our band". My husband just passed away April 28, the worst day of my life. We were married 35 years. My heart breaks daily. But you guys give me a smile every day. So your motto works. My wife works in San Diego at a live theater. Last year they put on Heart of Rock n roll a play that Huey help direct. She actually got to work with him for 6 weeks.
He would go back stage joke around with the staff talk to everyone. Just over all a super super cool guy.

“Naturally” is my favorite song of theirs. “Doing It All for My Baby” is my favorite video. Got to see them at a small venue in the early 90s. Was able to meet them. The band was ok, but Huey was really sweet to this shy gal. There were hottie groupies hanging off the band members, taking the band’s attention. But, Huey was all about the real fans. He gave his time and hammed it up, being silly.
I always think about him in Back to the Future 😃😄

Like me Huey is a very big liver of 60s & early 70s soul music so it's a huge influence on his music and his singing. I was in a bar/club in Fairfax, CA watching live blues bands with Joh Lee Hooker, Elvin Bishop and others when who happened to be in the joint but Huey Lewis. He got on stage and played his harmonica for several tunes. It was so amazing just to have that talent come together when you weren't expecting it.

Not only was Huey Lewis and the News one of the greatest bands of its time, they where also one of, if not, the greatest live acts in concert.

It's true Huey Lewis and the news was a band of rock and roll old school music in the 80's. That's why they were so special when they comes out in the 80's. Nobody was expecting that with so many hairy rock bands and pop. I love this band so much.
For me Huey Lewis & the News will always be the sounds of a hot summer day at the lake. Were your friends and every one around (new friends) just hangs out listening to Huey barbequing swimming and enjoying summer.

Huey and his band had some real rockers. While not my favorite band, the best concert I ever saw was in a Dallas club with a few hundred folks - Huey and the News. Totally awesome, brought the house down. Try the Power of Love, I Want a New Drug, or Hip to be Square.

Huey Lewis and The J Geils band were two of the best live bands I ever saw. They had their records and were tight live.. never a sloppy show that I saw. Springsteen is in that category with the E Street band. I never saw Seger live but I would think he was the same.
Huey and the band were so fun and had such a great series of videos in the 80's - you got to see a bit of each members' personality. My favorite was always the black haired bass player - very cool!

I went to a Barry Manilow concert at the Fox Theater in St. Louis. I was amazed by his show. Loved it and was surprised I loved it. The ticket was a gift and it turned out to be a great gift. 💗

I 💕 love that cameo he had in Back to the Future! But my other favorite is when he played the husband in Reba Mcentire's video "Is There Life Out There". To the music. One of the reasons I liked huey lewis and the news was because they were one of the last rock bands to keep A horn section, I played the saxophones and actually got a full college Ride playing in the college jazz band.
