So glad that you gave Jambinai a chance. I've been a fan since basically their debut, and own all of their CDs.. Some other songs of theirs that I recommend, are "Time of Extinction", "Connection" (shorter edited version), "For Everything That You Lost", and "Onda". All of these have music videos (as well as live versions) that can be found on RUclips.

Awesome reaction! I discovered your channel from your Lovebites reacts but found this in your uploads and was pleasantly surprised. I discovered these guys a few years ago when they played at a festival. By far the best band of the weekend. I can't remember the exact details of this but the song is directed at the Korean government/authorities for their inept response to a tragedy that occurred in the country. I'd recommend giving "Connection" a listen if you haven't already. Not sure how good it would be for a react video because its long and very gradual but its in my opinion their finest work.

Wow that was great. Asia is killing it for music. Not even sure what to say it was so unique. If you haven't heard of The Hu check them out from Mongolia. They went super viral 2 years ago or so, wouldn't be surprised if you heard of them.
Never heard of these guys, but that was absolutely amazing, I'm going to have to go looking for more. I'd definitely describe them as Progressive Rock based on this. The vertical instrument looks like a regional variation on the Erhu (Chinese 2 string violin), check out Taiwanese metal band Chthonic- Broken Jade for how it works in heavier music (hint: it works really well ;))

I was trying to figure out how the effects are changing on the traditional instruments, I didn't get the feeling they had pedal board on an effect loop... Now I could be wrong, but I think the laptops are basically doing DSP effects for the traditional instruments. I'm still not certain what the time signature is on this track. I think it's some kind of compound time signature, and it was really cool. I definitely need to hear more of this band.

I've heard elements of shoe gaze, post-rock, math-core(?) and even King Crimson-esque Prog. Just wild.

But also, as some commenter on the video put it well, it's very cathartic, with a somehwat uplifting ending. Such an interesting mix. I haven't heard the bands they're often compared to, so I can't comment on that (and personally I dislike doing/hearing that anyway. It makes no sense to me, but that's me). They use an absolutely fascinating instrument in the song ONDA, like a handheld organ-flute mix. It looks steampunk. But it's beautiful and it sounds amazing... From interviews, they're a humble bunch, who dream of reigniting interest in historic instrumentation in Korea. Help. I just spent an entire public holiday and this saturday watching their stuff..and pretty much right away bought their albums. It's just addictive.
