@@stoneymechabellum Great casting and analysis Stoney! I feel like its somehow bad manners to cast someones else game and with the help of hindsight to suggest that they could have easily won. However the replay feature sure is great tool and a huge deal for game replays.
So what im always thinking here: All you would need is 2 melters with range upgrade, maybe even one which would destroy his 5 surviving melters if he'd have that left which is usually the case
Awesome stuff, the rewind is such a clutch feature. I really hope the devs move the Resources from the bottom to the top of the unit card (like next to the units left). It's so frustrating when a unit is selected in the later rounds and you don't know how much money the person on the left has left!
I like that you showed the difference in outcome by redoing that last turn with different tactics. Real eye opener. Also is there a reason why do people call it suck and not leech; i thought leech was the standard term for this type of ability? Thanks for the video.
he should have went storms with electromagnetic explosion to disable tech. Works very well, i have lost a couple games do to energy diffraction being disabled . I try not to depend on certain tecs anymore
After playing for a few weeks. I feel like Melting Point is a good counter to just about anything. On round 5 do you think Farseer would have been a better choice for the red player than Scorpion? I have been having really good luck with Farseers... and they are amazing with the skill that removes enemy skills on hit. They may not have as good clear as the Scorpion but it sees to me that air units were the biggest threat to the red player in previous rounds.
farseers are good but i think in this game they cant latch onto the wraiths early enough to kill them - equivalent level farseers are decent against wraiths but they wont kill fast enough to protect ur chaff line in this game
Farseer may not have enough damage to clear or kill those high HP wraiths. In a defensive play, range isn't as important since all of your enemy's unit will be in your face, so you'll be better off with high-dmg low-range units
@@mathiasH9108 I personally love multimelter. One time I played multi melter no matter what for 2 weeks straight just to learn the intricacies (before sandstorm existed). My goal from very early on was to get to a build that destroyed chaff so I could finish him off with a giant. Once he had balls and wraiths, I felt my best option was multimelter. It was my plan all along, if you notice, most rounds end with only the wraiths, knowing I would end up with melters and suck on the back line. Once he went boats and worm, I decided multi melter and hoped he didn’t click sandstorm lol
@@iSparty29 Multi melta is a very interesting unit I agree (I didn't mean Panic melta in a as bad way as it might seem. Stoney just said 'Hard counter aggro' which it didn't seem like) I enjoy watching your (and similar MMR players) because it's rarely a super decisive win, most of the time it's very close every round. I see why Melta and they make sense ofc but out of a sudden it was 5+ meltas xD
why does everything need a nick name? "chin gun" "suck" "assman". It's weird. And all yall mecha youtubers use them. Where did it come from? If you watch a video from a year ago, no one said those things. I'm honestly curious as to who transmitted them into this community lol
GREAT SANDSTORM ANALYSIS AT THE END!!! Replaying matches is one of the most fun and UNIQUE features of Mechabellum!!!
My fav tool for learning and casting

The analysis at the end was superb, please keep doing videos like this
I had no idea you could take control like that in the replay, awesome tool, great analysis and execution on your train of thought

I think some european streamer started calling it and it kind of caught on

@@iSparty29 Fuck no haha but it seemed like a 'oh shit' play considering you almost lost xD
