Thank you so much! I am up for CDR and it is really raising my anxiety. After being sick for nearly 2 decades and on disability for 6 years, I am still embarrassed about my illness and how it limits me. I feel bad that my children have to help me with even simple tasks. I'm going to swallow my pride and just tell the truth. I have to remember that the people reviewing the case aren't judging us as people, just if we are still disabled. Thank you again!

@@TheNombergLawFirm Just had my SSDI hearing today. The ALJ ask my attorney to get my last check stub from the first quarter of 2020. Is that a good sign I got my SSDI approve? The Judge issue is my on set date and wages. She needs to verify my wages are correct with the SSA.
The truth is best. That is especially true if it helps your case. Don't sugar coat it and make it sound like you don't have a care in the world!! You must realize that if you are not that lucky person don't try to sound like you are. Some people applying for disability benefits have some real horror stories. You would think that bad luck follows them everywhere and haunts them. If anything tell them your tales of woe and misfortune *IF* they ask you to elaborate. If not just give them a quick sentence to describe the worst problem. These people are not against you but they need some proof of your problems.

Thank you for this. I'm filling out my dad's "ADULT FUNCTION REPORT- THIRD PARTY" and it says we need to return it completed within 10 days! His lawyer said that's a soft 10 days and it's okay if we're a little bit late. Is that true?? I don't want to do anything to hurt my dad's disability application but I don't think I'll be done in time.
How about the 3rd Party function report? Is this really useful in proving my case? I have heard some attorneys say that I should never let a 3rd party fill out a 3rd party functional report as these NEVER are used to approve but used to DENY claims. I am at the DDS with my initial claim, I have been denied before, have had failed work attempts and more evidence so I am hoping that even if I have to appeal and request hearing I can eventually get approved.
One thing I very frequently do is leave things somewhere and can't find them. Or I go to another room and forget what I went in there for. These things happen A LOT to me too!! They are annoying but they do happen. I never concentrated well on school work or paid attention the way I should. I can become frustrated easily and act out just as easily. I am not a violent person but you can imagine I am not at all pleasant when this happens!! I don't have a lot if any friends. I tend to avoid various situations that most people would not.
I have copes of ALL of my paperwork that the SSA would also have. Paper does not last forever so I had it all scanned and it is backed up on a number of external hard drives that I have. Because I misplace things a lot they are in one safe place mostly. The key is that none of these are on flash memory or DVDs as they are terrible long term archival mediums. I have blank DVDs I have not used yet and they have a haze between the two layers, that automatically rules that kind of media *OUT!!*

Actually, I do have one more question. Can you point me to a CFR, HALLEX...LAW stating that legally the denial mailed and the reason for denial on the DDS report have to be the same and can't be completely different. All I've found is "Clarity of denial"
I have my functional report dated nov 10 this year but i dont want to continue my application due to i finished my chemo this tuesday nov 23 what i gonna do am i gonna have problem with social security
Bernard, I'm literally BEGGING you to answer me honestly - PLEASE.... Your assistant called me and gave me a number to a lawyer and after doing so, she said "He is eagerly awaiting a call from you" That sentence isn't something someone would confuse, but I'm going to ask anyways. 1) Did you LITERALLY talk to him or yank him from google? 2) If you did speak to him, did u read, email the things I said to you, thus he knows information and then said he is "eagerly" awaiting my call?
First, if u yanked him from google, it was a good call. I did the same in January, but again, never got to speak to him, so if you didn't actually talk to him, the very same thing is going to happen. The assistant is going to listen to me and then say "I'm sorry, but we wouildn't take your case" Because that is what was done in January. Oh and he wasn't an ALJ for disability. Also, AT LEAST 15 times, I've called a firm, back n forth like your office and got called back given another lawyers number, where the exact same thing happened. Never spoke to an attorney, but they ALSO gave me another attorneys number. I'm telling you this so you know why I asked the above question. I feel like I have a video of a robbery, showing the person walking out, holding the gun, full clear face picture, the car he got into to, the license plates and NOBODY will watch the video. I don't understand, did lawyers forget why they became lawyers? Meaning outside income, fighting to correct injustice. Do you realize if I'm telling the truth and I'm not lying about talking to over 25 lawyers and nobody would listen, that this is WHY and how DDS gets away with what they do? Do you think if I'm telling the truth that I'm the only person they've done this to? 70% of people are denied. They LITERALLY used ME to deny me and I only found out because I clicked on the wrong tab of my CD, but read it anyways. My case, should be on the dam news....IF I'm not some whacko that's just bitter, but what if I was a loan officer 7 years in an office with over 100 employees and was always in the top 10. What if I have an above average IQ and have spent a long time researching - CFR's. POM's, HALLEX, SSR, DI. Because of pain and being unable to sit, what I've done in a year, I could have done in less than 2 months. I've tried to go back to work several times and DDS even lied about that in the DDE yet SSA shows I did, where I worked and that it was an obvious failed attempt & U-haul rehired me 3x, same office trying to find different jobs for me, because they knew they'd never get someone with my skills for $9 an hour......I'm NOT an idiot, not a bitter whacko. I have proof of everything, but nobody has the balls to take my case. If I could work, I'd become a disability advocate and blow all u Lawyers away. Of 300+ letters from customer raving and thanking us that were on the walls of the office I worked at ,with 100+ people, 33% WERE TO ME, because I took clients no other loan officer would take, because if u close a $200,000 loan in 3 weeks or 3 months, your pay was the same, but i helped people nobody else would and I kept my word, even AFTER i got paid. I was a foreman, crew leader, department supervisor in jobs before a loan officer, but I became a loan officer because I was hurt once too many as a cabinet maker, which i did for 23 years. I'm 55 years old, so GRID rules apply as well. I just don't understand. What if what I have is a HUGE bust on fraud by disability??? Well, at least I know is good enough???

Also you're right, he sounds awesome, but I called him in January & never got to speak to him either & turned away. I thank u for your time, but please just give me a yes or no. I won't bother you any more about this. I'm just upset and feel hopeless. I may watch more videos and ask questions, but won't bother to ask for your service as u explained about being out of state
