@michaellelle4447 Yeah, THIS LINEUP AND INCLUDING FLO AND EDDIE WAS EPIC! I witnessed them all from about six rows back, centre stage at MASSEY HALL in TORONTO during the FALL OF 1973! 'BEST CONCERT EVER of the many dozens that I attended during that decade! @@paulw2743 exactly. He probably wouldn’t approve of the use of mushrooms since he only smoked cigs and drank black coffee. But I agree 1000% he was an absolute genius. And his music live on forever. No matter what’s going on.

A Parliament Funkadelic cover of this album would be dope! Love the writing on this, but the added ensemble and backing vocals of P-Funk would bump it up! Zappa was in a wold of his own but, if anything could bring it to the new generation, it begs for a Mono Neon cover lol

Not underrated by anyone who's ever listened to him properly. More like unheard or unrecognised, mainly because he never joined (or sold out to?) the mainstream so didn't get the exposure. I still think he's the greatest hidden treasure and almost smug that I've been one of the lucky ones to discover him. My late wife too, we both became gleefully obsessed with him for years. I even called her "Baby Snake". (The Snake was her Chinese sign and she was my 'Baby', bless her x). You've all heard Frank's "Baby Snakes" too I guess?
He was never underrated by other guitarists. BUT he was never a virtuoso and did not know how to build a solo. Plus he never played to mainstream music so the average music listener never bothered to listen. Plus his voice sucked.

Not to mention the phenomenal Ralph Humphrey on drums!
incredible.
Ralph is magnificent!
My favorite Frank Solo! The tone, the attitude, the wah, the plaid suit! haha fantastic
Pure art! long solos without repeating himself one time! Only Frank!
Like burping. He was average guitar player.

Diggin' Jean-Luc's '70s trousers.
the solo is never the same as a previous solo for this song. I'm sure Zappa fans probably already know this, but I'm just noticing.
Amazing. I never saw Frank use the tremelo arm on that SG before :)
