I saw the video a month or so ago and I ordered everything, yesterday i got all the mod parts and did the same, it sounds so good and is much better than the original. However I have one small issue where the poron switch ring thats placed around/under the switch sometimes makes the switch go out very easily, Im wondering if I have to redo some of them due to misalignment or just press them down harder. Otherwise I love it and it feels/sounds amazing. Also the keycaps are insanely nice and high quality and I was really impressed TBH.
Hi! how are you like the keyboard so far? How are the switches and functions such as rapid trigger, change in actuation points, etc. Considering to get this or other HE boards such as DrunkDeer or Monsgeek
@@moshbtw Thanks! Almost convinced to get a Drunkdeer but the price tag makes me have second thoughts. Don't really get to play everyday anymore so might as well look for a cheap alternative which does the job
@@rjlicruz2021 i just got the k85 and i was surprised on how good it actually is. The keyboard looks really good and sounds nice and the rapid trigger feature works well. Definitely recommend it, i got the black version.
Should be able to.. but you're going to have to mod and cut off 2 pins on every switch. As the PCB is flat and has no holes to fit the stock Outemu OTM's.
@@galaxxKBD found them tnx! also question about the switch foam on the switch plate wont it cause any issue or make the switch inaccurate on the actuation points due to the foam adding height? or am I just overthinking it lolz
@@ravenslegacy4050 it depends on the application if it's bad or not but if you do a bad job the worst you could get is the bottom out actuation won't register for 0.2mm unless you press hard
stock sounds good and the modded sounds even better, great job, this is truly perfection
I also just modded the k85 keyboard. Thank you for the very useful video

PS: I did not include the modding of stabs in this vid since the durock stabs wasn’t compatible with this keyboard
