Like you, I quit RSL. It was back at the beginning of July, deleted my account, after 4 1/2 yrs, and uninstalled the game. It just wasn’t fun anymore, it became a 4 to 6 hr. chore everyday. Now I play WoR between 1/2 to 1 hr. a day and have FUN with progression. Also, Whales and Krakens don’t rule the roost over there. I don’t miss RSL for sure, but I do miss the great CC’s like you and Ash. Glad you’ve found that breath of fresh air! Take care bro!

Long time no see. I quit a couple weeks ago after they nerfed my hydra team and then took it a step further and made hydra a mess by buffing it. At first I felt that pull to log in and do my cb runs but it quickly passed and I haven't missed it at all. It will take a lot to bring me back to this predatory, underhanded, slimy game.
When you come back after a while one thing you get through the revival path is a boost to gold 4 arena. Problem is if you’re not big into PvP like me, and you drop out of gold, you wind up with 100-300+ teams in silver Arena. I found it easier to get from Gold 1-4 than it was to go from Silver 3-Gold 1.
You were my OG CC for Raid after following Darth from SWGOH. Best of luck to you in your adventures. I've quit as well and maybe logged in for a total of 20 minutes in the last 12 months, hilarious thing is I popped one void and got Siphi (and I don't even care). I used to play RTS like crazy! I have played War Craft, War Craft 2, Stracraft, Total Annihilation, Total Annihilation Kingdoms and Command & Conquer. I have likely missed a couple. I occasionally go back and play some of them again. They are extremely fun and engaging!
I quit 2 weeks ago. Been with Raid since launch. Not free to play, about 10-20US$ a month. (Which is the same as free to play :p ) It was just the workload. It was with me every day. the whole day. And the reward was just less and less. I failed the last 4 fusions, where I have completed every single previous fusion. Except Foli, that was insane. And even when I was doing the chores through the whole day, I still did not do live arena, cursed city and siege was a last minute participation trophy. I did not have time or resources to build my champions. So in the end I just decided to give up and quit. :)

I have taken two six-month breaks from RAID since I began playing. I left after reaching level 100, and I never felbelow Gold IV arena while I was away. I like the awards you get upon return.

I've missed watching you daily. The first month of my play only you and Salt had video's on builds out there. Still hate all the pop ups and you got lucky. Lady Valkiry I want to play AOE4 looking forward to next year when I can buy some games.
Nothing to regret. When you have a busy life, you move on towards a better future. Also, a "born again" FTP account when you just want to slowly build up again, why not.
I guess person can say that regret over something if that something is lost. Did you lost something? Maybe some income as a CC. Otherwise, the game is still here, life outside to be lived. No remorse no regrets.

Any time a new player asks me who is the best cc to learn the game, I say Chosen. Indeed, there are many CCs who are great, but for a beginner to mid game player, who doesn't want to spend millions of dollars on this game, Chosen is the best. BTW, the meta hasn't changed at all since you left, and I am confident that it will stay the same forever. Ben Franklin and his faction is always the meta, lol.
RAID is KING for a reason and I hope you take those reasons to GodForge to make a even better game . But to be completely honest M8 - you lost out by quitting as a CC....But in the end we all Know GodForge will WIN the day ;) and yes you are part of that circle . love and miss you at same time
Not really just pulled over 120 ancient shards got 6 epics in return not for the first time either. It feels when events are active the drop ratio is less not double.
I wasted so much money on this game for so many years. I quit 6 months ago and never looked back. To put it into perspective plarium reached out to me via in game message to understand how they could get me to return. 😅
I feel that, about moving on from Raid. Like you said, its running its course; I could just need a break, but I am losing interest in it. Cant wait for Godforge, theres hope there!

Time is money. F2P can sing the song all day but it is a waste of your day having that slot machine running all day
