Any recommended ada hard wallets?
Tangem wallet
Is Bc vault a good hardware wallet?
A video about miltisig strategies for retail investors would be very useful.
Tangem for me.
Thank you for the heads up Guy!
Out of interest which Wallets keep a record of the Seed Words and which don’t? Surely that’s a major point 😮
Thanks a lot for all these informations
Pls make a video on which is the best hardware wallet now that ledger has done this
all are seed phrase *generators* or just private keys *generators* , a 1 way math function ... the problem is of course : if copied, include captured / photograph taken
Excellent information Guy.
Hi are you interested in doing a video review for my pancakeswap trading bot ?
Another great video. Thanks
Hardware wallets are the most important, and for them to not include them is a waste of time.
Deep-dive on Exodus please.
Thank you
You don’t want to get hacked? solution move it into cold storage hardware wallet
Ledger no longer secure with their new seed phrase sharing
Holding BTC in a cold storage wallet isn’t how you’ll get hacked you will get hacked when you move your crypto or interact with it so cold storage wallet are ok while you don nothing with your coins.
Solution move to paper wallet it's the safest since it's not a device that could get hacked hopefully, we get more support to paper wallets.
@@cryptojonny6837 ok and how does it work if most software wallet store your seed phrase or give it to you witche app should I use
i just stack sats I will never spend@@Happytruth
Hi Guys I have D'Cent Biometrics and Nano S. I like the D'Cent Wallet more than all the to 5 you mentioned because of the features and accommodations
Guy well really appreciate a video in BRICS
Can you make a video for youre new viewers who want a just to catch up on everything and where to hypothetically keep an eye on to invest, or prepare for the future. I’ve watched 4 of your videos and only get more confused with questions discovering all these new aspects I didn’t even know existed or voted for.
Metamask stolled my money by changing the addresses
Your link to the 5 best hardware wallets is over a year old .
Can you do an update, as there are more available, such as Zenga.
You seem to concentrate on Trezor and Ledger!
Can you do a vid on the Tangem wallet. It doesn't require a seed phrase and has been touted by many as the most user friendly HW wallet.
This
I don't trust wallets with internally generated and maintained keys. If that is broken you are lost. Decent security for your own keys solves a lot of issues.
Excellent report. Its why I am subscribed. Its great that this information is being brought to my attention. TY
TRUST WALLET ALL DAY EVERYDAY
hell no. Hardware only.
@@anonanon8794 yea until you lose it and or accidentally run it over with your car 😂😂😂
@@beachbumLifestyle then you probably deserve to lose your crypto. Natural selection.
@@beachbumLifestyleyou bot, you apparently dont know how hardware wallets work. There is something call BIP-39 that contains seeds that generate for your hardware wallet. You then write it down and can use it for other wallets. Therefore, if your wallet gets destroyed, you can use your seed to log into another hardware wallet. The most secure way to keep your crypto. Trust wallet is a hot wallet which means that it is open to vulnerabilities and the company controls your private keys. Just like FTX, you can lose all of your assets. You probably have zero knowledge in crypto as a whole if you think that way. I bet your portfolio is full of only pepe, doge, and shiba.
@@beachbumLifestyle *when u dont understand cold wallets*
i had atomic and used biometrics .
still lost 5k and atomic admitted they have no security and no cares to give .
Did they say how you lost it???
@vasyls1767 they even told the op address was in Vietnam.
Seriously wtf iam close to Denver Co.
Didn't that fly a massive red flag
I've always been wary of usinig biometrics in case it malfunctions. Now with A.I. and world coin orb etc.....i think biometrics will be replicated.
I really don't like frequent updates on wallets. They say is to fix vulnerabilities but is very common for a broken update to happen eventually.
And all wallets should explain with a lot of detail how Private keys are stored and encrypted. Most of them won't tell you and you have no idea how they interact with the internet.
If you want a hardware wallet think twice before going with ellipal. They have no product available in the US. Insane lead times.
The safest strategy is don't put all you're crypto in one wallet. Have multiple wallet
Safest is paper wallet since it is not a device that could get hacked hopefully. Paper wallets can get more support in the future.
safest is gold bars
Yes but do tou trust the programs that creates your passphrase for your paper wallet. I dont
@@sampetersson5887 well that's with anything even the programs that do the hardware wallets and software wallets can we trust them. We test it by sending 1 satoshi to the paper wallet and then withdraw it to see if its legit.
@sampetersson5887 : Just out of curiousity: does that not are the same software programms that create your passphrase/keys for your hardware wallet?
So which 6 are the safest crypto wallets? Would have been nice to have that mentioned in your video so we can ensure we don't have any vulnerable wallets
For that reason I won't be watching the rest of the video as it's pointless then. Cheers dude
Did you watch the video? He stated that meta mask scored highest across all wallet types around 5:00 minutes in
@drwombat look not getting into it with you. That is still one out of 5 and that is not a hardwallet and on top of everything else Meta is a terrible wallet as many others would attest to
Mm occupied 4 out of the top spots across different platforms watch the video ffs. Do u need it spoonfed to you?
I had to go into the report (link in the video description) to find them
The video title was click bait
Good luck
Hi. Thank you so much as usual. Is exodus a good wallet?
No.
No exodus is not safe buy own trezor waller
Check hardware wallets to make sure they have zero issues of not booting or anything that would brick them.
Where can I find the discount for the Trezor wallet you recommend?
Tell us your ratings on Hardware wallets. For example, is Ellipsis’ air-gapped wallet better than a ledger?
Yes because ledger can bring your seed back.that meens they have access to your wallet if they want
Hey man !!!
And I forgot to add: has anyone heard about a bank account being robbed - and who is resp if it happens?
You may have the most secure hardware/software wallet on earth, and still have a sheet of paper with your 24 words recovery phrase hidden around somewhere to be found
Remember or steel plate
😂where’d I put that damn notebook with all my keys and passwords on it honey?
Oh that, it looked messy and you never seem to look at it so I got tired of it on your side table do I threw it out 😱
you don't have to write the words in the right order... or you may not write the last 3 or 2, you can add a passphrase, etc
You add a passphrase
@@cesuntbaniiThe last 2 or 3 words can be guessed through simple brute force. There is a legit company that helps users retrieve funds from wallets with missing or unreadabe key words.
Opinions on Edge wallet?
Everyday I learn something from you.
Thank you for helping us. 🙏
I use atomic and exodus and trust wallets. Thinking i better stop using atomic
The wallets may be shaky, but Guy's beard is flawless.
The bottom line is probabilities. Why would I trust on a drive to safe my keys when sometime I forget where I put my car keys?? If you don’t trust the security of your phone and your exchange you should find one that have better Cyber security measures implemented.
Or get a vpn. A strong one at that
multi sig is your answer
Even if a penetration test or audit is performed, for a wallet to pass the test still does not guarantee that there are no vulnerabilities. Also, your funds are not stored on the wallet, so the wallet is not required to send or receive funds. Your wallet only stores keys, and if there is a way to compromise the keys without interacting with the wallet then you can be compromised despite taking all precautions to maximize security.
Basically there is no way to guarantee security.
True
This is the way, you have to assume compromise all the time and adjust accordingly, if something plugins or uses power it is vulnerable to something.
@@eli_the_crypto_guy All forms of security have fundamental vulnerabilities. It’s kind of the nature of the beast, cat mouse game. But the main problem with crypto security is that the vulnerability is global. Anybody from anywhere can steal all your funds if they are able to compromise you.
Thanks Guy, It’s always good to be reminded to be vigilant and keep our guards up.. thanks for the content…👍🏼👍🏼
Question, Do you see a scenario when gig computing will be able to break our security codes? Just curious to your thoughts..
Thanks again..
How do you suppose institutional investors store their coins. Do you think BlackRock has a piece of paper in a vault with 24 word seed phrase? Seems odd.
Multisig
with a ledger? Where? @@acidthunder1
😂😂😂
Nice content, trading come with a lot of benefits And I have just bought my first house through it. As a beginner I was scared of loosing my savings but I’m glad I took the bold step that is now favoring me.
Congratulations 🍾
I will love to be your friend dear as well as sharing some i dears which you're benefiting.
Okay but is not luck, is all about having good investment plans most of all trading with a trust worthy expert.
Watching professional trading videos and most especially connecting with the right person the digital world is full of in unreal people I met some of them during my success journey. I felt same way when I started especially when you use demo account you might be winning but when you put in real money you start losing I understand and I pass through it all. I’m very happy I’m profitable now.
I can relate to all you said because I am facing similar thing right now. Congratulations I wish you more success.
Hey how good are your earnings I will like to get some insights into trading thank you.
thanks for the insight, I have Nano X , ever since the rumour has gone viral, i hesitate to update it to the newer version. is there anything to worry about to do the upgrade or should I not to do? if I stay the older version, will it affect certain functionality?
Please do a review on Tangem Hardware wallet, Is it safe to store Crypto and HODL for long term?
Bought a cheap laptop that i only have for ledger and nothing else. I don't browse the internet with it. It's packed away.i don't use it
My Ledger hardware wallet allows me to sleep. It is akin to backups.
One of the worst wallets to use trust wallet, lost all my ETH, and there’s no one to contact
How did you loose it where did you store your seed phrase?
When markets on free fall you get out at the lower price. It happened to me on a stock trade when I am trying to get out and could not because the stock dropped so fast and a lot of people trying to get out and could not. Yah it happens in a collapse. It is terrifying when you lose control like when a car hits black ice and it stops responding to controls. It's like a night club on fire and 100 people tries to get out during a fire and a stampede ensues. Some did not make it and incinerated to ash. I am not going to go through that again, no way. If people are not paying attention it's going to be bad. First 10 makes it the rest don't. Unfortunately schools don't teach knowledge they teach conformation to authority. Lemmings follow each other even over a cliff. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I am listening and taking it very seriously and have run to safety to higher ground. Our world is on the verge of burning to the ground.
so you have to change “bling signing” on the ledger, every time your not using it?
All the money when spend on protection 🤔wind up still getting hacked.
Tangem is the way. 🧘🏿♂️ (so far)
Odd this report omitted SafePal. Guy, how about a security video based on Certik audits?
Would it be good to have only one phone for storing crypto? I think to buy phone and store on it my crypto and only use it when i need to send or recieve assets
Yes and keep it off the network. you can even just delete the wallet but make sure you have those recovery seed phrases . also haveing multiple wallets and spread your crypto throughout. meaning some btc in one wallet and some in the other. it sucks its a lot of work.
Educate yourself. Crypto never leaves the blockchain. You don’t store crypto, you store your keys that unlock the address on the blockchain where your crypto is stored.
If you a verified paper wallet generator, have an air gapped printer and computer, have redundancies and backups, PWs are still one of the safest cold storage options.
But do you trust the wallet generators that they dont store your created seed? Or if you have malware (trojan) when you generate the seed
I'd opt for having multiple wallets
Guy is on the few people I know they can grow a beard in a day.
prerecorded
😂
He can grow 2 a day 🧔🏻
I came here looking for a beard comment and I found one.
this Guy like Homer
Which cold wallet do you use?
No safe place for crypto bro
They miss the weakest link your mobile phone. The wallet might be secured but you just hack the phone clip board and reroute the receiving address. McAfee himself said the mobile phone is the worse for infected malware so much he couldn't keep track of it.
👍👍
Ugh and the Ledger debacle where they are making it possible for your seed phrase to he hacked
Does it mean that if you use a cold storage but stake it is not safe?
Guy, can you talk about flatcoins?
Yes, it’s flat!
is ngrave airgaped if i must plug device to computer?
Atomic was an inside job and came with an upgrade I lost too much crypto Matic and XLM in particular
Matic and xlm are junk

Can you able to save all the coins including small ones?
how is EDGE wallet ?
A phishing scam is more likely the cause for someone to lose their crypto
At the end of the day.... no wallet is safe. My fav part of crypto....
I disagree with your top picks of safest wallets... TANGEM is the best out there so far.
for me the best is the Loopring Smart Wallet. And also the community is dope af.
You left out D’CENT
Damn no ngrave mention
If you're using a free desktop or cellphone wallet then you're getting the level of security you paid for.
Makes sense
If you wanna do any staking you kinda have to sadly
Mine was hacked openly by my b@nk then shut down for no reason other than me refusing to answer their questions.
Why? Which one?
How do you secure small coins on the hard wallet?
Blockstream jade is a good one.
a solar can wipe all data from any digital wallet
Icp nns cannot be hacked
```Thanks for the insights uncertainty in crypto keeps popping day by day```
which wallets is best for HBAR ?
D'cent wallet
First of all get rid of h-bar terrible tokenomics
Get KAS Kaspa and then invest in a TANGEM hardware wallet & start accumulating and get set for the next 🐂 run
You saved me many many times not only money but time as well!!!
The best way is to buy a new phone where you can use only to store your cryptos and don't click Links💯
No technology is safe.
Cold storage ⛳
It's ok to be hacked.
As long as they don't steal
Your hard wallet picks are nowhere near as good as a BITFI.
No. Not a single Wallet is safe. There is Always a way to break in.
Every program can be hacked eventually
