1. SNMP is used to monitor and manage devices on your whole netwoks.
2. SNMP uses from monitoring and generating alerts to device configuration.
3. SNMP can be configured as Read-Only mode to retrive only information from devices.
4. SNMP Read-Write mode can be used to retrive or configure the network devices.
5. SNMP receives the request uses UDP port 161 and Traps, information to manager uses UDP 162.
