We purchased a Mr. Coffee Pot a few months ago and it lasted a few weeks for someone whole makes coffee every single day. This looks like a promising kettle except we were taken back by the price. Thanks for this honest review. We did find an unused open-box for a hundred dollars less so it's definitely a steal at this price point.

Gorgeous kettle and I like that there are no plastic parts. The price is steep but seems like you’d have it for a very very long time. Like anything else sometimes we pay extra for beauty, lol.

I love mine, but it doesn't whistle as well as did my old "cheap" one. I couldn't even hear hers, maybe it's my old ears? I bought an open box special for $100, probably still too much but I do like how it looks.
Yes, I love how it looks. Its weird that yours doesn't whistle loud enough. Maybe the whistle part has a little buildup.
I'm thinking to buy this, yes is expensive but I'm looking more for Non-Toxic, PTFE & PFOA Free.

You absolutely can find it less expensive anywhere else. This is the only one I’ve ever seen so expensive.
I would never pay almost $200 to boil water. I'd like to know why the company charges so much for a tea kettle. There should be some justification for the price.
