I adore it, I love how it reflects the sky. And how it feels to be inside it, with its curves and warm hues. Covering it, as one project presented as a biosphere, would be such a loss. I hope it becomes a communal space where finance and art can live together, after all floors are independent and it's big enough to host all interests.
The ICC is an artsy behemoth having many possibilities. Cool if they can obtain resources to redesign/utilize it. The James R. Thompson Center in Chicago is a similar behemoth. 🏬 🦣 ♻️
who classified this as High-Tech architecture? Pompidou Center as one of the people interviewed mentioned is really a High-Tech building. High-Tech architecture is a branch of modernism and it emphasizes on putting the structure and services exposed as a proof of collaboration between all engineering branches and the architects from conceptualization. High-Tech buildings are simply machines. While this one is more likely to be a postmodern building that uses futuristic elements...
I say demo it and build a modern convention center that lets in lots of natural sunlight, has solar, efficient heating/cooling systems, clean modern touchless bathrooms, etc. and will host a bunch of cool conventions (cars/tuner/imports, comics/anime/cosplay/film, tattoos/oddities/goth, antiques/collectables, electronics/audiophile/computing, etc.) and is connected to mass transportation systems. This will bring tourists like myself to Germany and economic prosperity to the region.
For my part, this building is magnificent.

Soundtrack's great as always but unfortunately it's too loud. It's almost impossible to understand what the narrator is saying.
Thanks @Fvejo ! We may need to re-upload it...🤔
The ICC is pure Star Trek for me, awesome!!! 😍😍😍😍
This build is straight out of Cyberpunk.
Which is horrible.
The music is too loud !
@Ali Alrajjal Thanks for the hint - you are absolutely right, the beginning is not mixed properly, but from 0:18 seconds on it should be all right.
I’m so happy they saved it from being demolished. This thing is one unique piece of art.

Part of this building was used as a photo bash in Mass Effect 1 concept art. It's a gem of architecture tbh.
love it! looks like the set from Paul Verhoeven movie ❤❤❤❤❤
Looks like something from the Starship Troopers movie
Es sollte in ein Albumbild von B12 (aus Sheffield) gehört.
Debe ser uno de los edificios más feo que existen. Su presencia en la zona llega a ser intimidante . Un verdadero atentado arquitectónico.

It Looks more in line with other high tech archtecture then Pompidou Center.
As an American I like the building and hope to visit some day
Do not care who city it is I say what I want
What's with the flashy music? Please take the music off so we can hear the presenter
@Klamentyne Sorry for that, we try to fix that! But from 0:18 seconds it should be all right.
@@dweuromaxx thank you very much, appreciated! 👍
That venue could work as a multi purpose arts venue like London’s Barbican - would needs lots of money though!
Wow🎉
Was the sound mixing done by Chris Nolan?
Worst case scenario they gut it and turn it into an enormous movie stage. Or perhaps an indoor zoo habitat.
The latter actually sounds quite interesting... Imagine a huge Butterfly House..
The ICC didn’t use asbestos, instead kafko was used, as it was less expensive and readily available.
And then in the first half of 2022, it was used as a major COVID-19 vaccination centre…
Das Osaka Hotel in John Wick 4.
Can you hire A SOUND EDITOR, the music is too loud, we can barely hear the woman speaking ..... WTF approved this video without checking this?
@Hbt Please read our video description, thank you.
A monstrosity.

@SoCalFreelance It is at least already well connected to the transport network ...😉 Thanks for your comment!
@@dweuromaxx Good to know! We wouldn't want all those artists to have to walk. 😁
Looks kinda ugly but I hope they repurpose it instead of demolishing it.
Wäre schade um das ICC wenn es abgerissen würde.
@clemenszivi Agree - It would really be a shame to tear it down.
Pretty nice. But don't overdo it.
