At 00:09:19 Fire Chief states that unless the vehicle was its own source of ignition, but can't explain how or why, I wish I could just interrupt this interview and point out to everyone exactly what happens when you place metal into a microwave oven. And if you zap the plasma created within the microwave, it will ignite and burn at high temperatures which explains how the front of that truck melted but the tires or the gas tank didn't ignite, or how the truck in the driveway just spontaneously ignited itself but didn't burn any vegetation around it. Or how the rear of that car metal was scorched but tires didn't ignite once again, yet the other vehicle's front end was completely turned molten. And the asphalt as well.
They manufacture direct energy devices here in Albuquerque New Mexico so we know these devices are real and how they work.

I agree with 99% of what the fireman (I can’t remember his name, I’m sorry sir) is saying here but one point he’s off just a tiny bit is where he’s not understanding that most of these newer cars, within the last 20 years or a bit longer, most of these smaller passenger cars and imports have engines with aluminum engine blocks, not cast iron like some of the full size trucks still have, but even some of the full size truck engines are aluminum over cast iron. The melting point of aluminum is lower than cast iron or steel but still, the heat it would have taken to completely melt the engine blocks as shown in these pictures would have required temperatures higher than what the body panels could also sustain. No matter how we look at this situation, this fire had outside influence of some sort!! If any fire professional claims this Is damage sustained from a normal & typical wildfire blowing through an area with minimal exterior fuel sources, they are lying to your face, PERIOD!!!!!
I do have fire training from the fire school at Louisiana State University and specialized in industrial fire fighting and dealing with hazardous accelerants and industrial environments cause my fire fighting experience is limited to fires at Paper Mills and the supporting Power House, Wood Yard, Semi Trucks, and associated chemical tanks required in the paper making industry and I have seen a good number of these industrial fires and not a single one has ever replicated any damage seen here. I also have experience with standard wildfires with naturally occurring, dry, organic fuel and those have never replicated what we see here!!!
We are being lied to constantly about this fire and somehow, we will get to the bottom of this and uncover the facts!! It’s just a matter of time, but anyone digging for answers or reporting on findings needs to keep their head on a swivel and keep their safety front & center above all!!
the key in all this is not the metal as much as it is the Automotive glass. autoglass is very specific and when it is found to have melted, it must have reached 2,551 Deg F minimum. this is a known rating for automotive glass. such a fire cannot be explained by anything normally combustible that is either naturally occurring or common combustibles found in such communities, like gasoline, wood, fabric, plastic, etc etc. This was an energy weapon of some kind.

My mom's old Ford station wagon caught fire at the end of a long trip. Once they pressurized top hose got soft from the heat, it popped and put the engine fire out. All the wiring was fried and hoses had to be replaced but the car was fine. Miss older cars and a level of sanity. What we're seeing in these pictures doesn't jive with natural fire effects.
In my former job over 30 years i went to scores of vehicle fires. I never came across seeing the state of melt etc as shown in this video. I feel qualified to say this was abnormal.

I'll say it again: the glass in vehicles is tempered, requiring very high temps to melt....how did temps get that high from thin grass, light brush?
You are half correct, the glass that is tempered in a vehicle are the side windows only. The windshield and rear window are Laminate...the reason is for impact, so the front and rear windshield glass doesn't shatter into tiny pieces

The only things typical about this fire is, unfortunately, the government's lack of responding to and the media's disinterest in such events. From a Licensed Fire Alarm / Access Control Technicians point of view who happened to work in the most exclusive area of the Big Island, highly highly suspect. Federal mandates were issued after the Oklahoma bombing and more from 911. Check for yourselves. The equipment that I worked with does not fail period. What my coworkers witnessed over two years was the incredible growth of a town that has two lanes. We were in agreement that we were seeing Kona being ruined quickly. Water levels go in to alarm at some point and the tsunami klaxons most definitely would have ben raised. But I am only a tech. Take it for what it's worth.

You're not saying anything new here. Why don't YOU take samples and run the chemical analysis? While you're at it, check for radiation. That could explain why no one was allowed in Lahaina for at least six months after the fire. Check to see if the power plant on the hill was somehow feeding the fire directly below it creating thick black smoke from one spot for hours. Instead of saying "someone" should look into this, DO IT YOURSELF. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
