This was an all time fave stream. XQC is a great guy and the explosion of emotes in chat was quite memorable. Also gotta plug the limited time merch. If the chessbrahs have taught us all one thing, it's if you're gonna sellout - go big or go home. Limited run Hikaru Bongcloud Speedrun Merch - available here for about 10 more days: merch.streamelements.com/gmhikaru . Thanks so much for all the support, subscriptions and follows.

It would be incredibly easy for him to be condescending or think that this is just a waste of his time because he’s one of the top chess players in the world. Erik Näslund Exactly! I’m 23 got into chess about a year ago because Agadmators video on game 3 of the 1972 WCC got recommended to me and for some random reason I clicked on it. I hadn’t played a game of chess since I was 8 years old (my dad and grandfather used to play on scouting trips). I was immediately hooked and through watching Hikaru, Antonio, Aman & Eric, Yasser, and Ben Finegold I’ve learned a lot. I went from only knowing how the pieces moved to 1820 on chess.com in the year since. It’s great RUclips and Twitch are around to support all of those guys sharing the game that they’ve devoted their lives to.
