Thankfully (!) Regina has confirmed this will be on her upcoming fifth album "Far", released June 23rd.

It literally isn't even fair how well she sings. The whole time....flawless. I wish more artists had better live talent like this.
This is still magical. Must have watched this a 100 times over the last few years. Keep coming back to it and it keeps getting better. The level of musicianship is insane. The vocal and piano are technically flawless. The songwriting is peerless. But that’s not what brings me back. The real magic is how every note is shot through with heartfelt emotion. The moment is captured beautifully too. I even like how it cuts out early. Like the camera couldn’t hold its breath that long.
The same thing with me :). This fan-made vid is one of the most eye-catching videos of Regina. Hats off. I'm speechless she's so adorable

This is really an awesome performance...as good as the album version. I wasn't sure the last part would work without the strings, but she pulled it off!!!

Don't worry about that memory card. This is probably the best live performance I have found on her. Usually the audio in most of the live performances people tape and post are okay but this....she sounds so clear and flawless. I have sent it to all my friends and they are always so in awe after listening to it.
She seems a million miles away in this performance. I love it.

Not very often do you hear an artist that sounds as good, or better live than they do in a recording studio. Regina Spektor is a FANOMINAL artist.

Simply the purest artist of our time.(my opinion of course) I adore this woman. I've seen her live and I'm gonna see her live again in september :-) The main melody of this song sounds like a little riff in the Movie "The Science of Sleep." Anyone else know what I'm talkin about?? lol.

Yep. I'm going to the Chicago show on the 12th. I'm from Michigan but its only a three hour drive to Chicago. Plus its on a saturday so it works out. I drove to Chicago to see Yann Tiersen a couple months ago. lol.

yeah i totally agree. i have 2 live mp3 versions of this song & i like them both very much, but i still like this version the very best & i've watched every video of this song i can find. it just moves me.especially that part towards the end where it changes. i really hope the album version will be the best.

He certainly does. As for Human of the year close-up, it's even more fascinating to watch it inasmuch as in the very first seconds her face seems to be an asian mask, sort of impersonal portrait of a woman singing;). The make-up she wears did the job, and added to the lyrics - impersonal situation of the ceremony - the final effect is breathtaking. I keep asking myself - who is this woman? :))

I have this video on my ipod and i don't get tired of watching it. Can you believe she sent me 4 autographed photos to my house? lol I was very shocked when I received them, she's so nice. I gave her a portrait at a concert and she was kind enough to sign 4 photos of my drawing.

Didn't think I liked her new album as much until I heard this song. Tried singing it once and although I've been told I'm a good singer... No way haha. So hard to sing but she does it effortlessly.

I used a Canon Powershot S3 IS. Yes, yes it is. However it is not made to film concerts, so you can fit about 6 minutes of video on a 1 GB memory card. At shows with heavy bass and drums I don't recommend it as the microphone is very sensitive and will give you back a sound of heavy warfare. Good luck!

my god... this woman needs to record a rock album. she tosses off vocals like nothing, that most artists would record for days to approach and not succeed. its absolutely stunning.

@HermioneWeasley01 Of course your right, but it doesn't seem possible. The more I watch this video the more I'm not so sure. :) Why am I crying? I'm crying right now and I don't know why. This woman or human being or alien or whatever she is, moves me to the core. And I can't even explain why. Her songs can be so strange and kooky, and a lot of times her words don't even make sense. But she kills me. She has some sort of magic that can't be explained.

@dmsteller Now that I think about it, that pisses me off. She worked hard and actually has talent, and all they have to do is alter their voice; which doesn't even sound good, but sells like crazy for some twisted reason.

People do get it, but mainstream music is never going to appreciate someone like her. Bjork and Tori are 'weird' to pop culture and The Beatles and Pink Floyd have been glorified to absurd levels. Regina`s music video for Fidelity however has over 10 million views and she is growing in popularity. Pretty much everyone who can get used to her big hair and unique voice fall in love with her :) Yeah, Regina makes me feel better about the future of humanity, I adore her more than i knew i could.
