I love that you are hiding from the mailman, while you are filming a video that thousands of people will see😂. I can relate, I hide sometimes too🙈. I feel a little bit less crazy now. Thank you❤️.
This is my first time watching a video from your channel - and the ammount of marvels that I came across during watching you just made me push the "subscribe" button immediately! 1) earlier today I watched "Nutcracker and the 4 realms" - and you mentioned a Nutcracker-inspired book! 2) Someone nice sent you the book "The Winterhouse", and you know what? I work in a Russian publishing house and I'm currently editing the translation of the sequel to "The Winterhouse" in Russian - never before have I stumbled upon this book in a booktube video by chance! 3) "Disappearing Spoon" is a book I read when I worked in a school library and had a crush on a chemistry teacher - and have since forgotten about the book and moved in with the said teacher. Thank you for reviving the dear memories in me! 4) you mention "Crime and Punishment", my all-time favourite book which I've been meaning to reread - does anyone think all above is still a coincidence? I'm sure it's fate that brought me to your channel, and I'm so thrilled and thankful! You are extraordinary! Thank you for the work, time and heart you put in creating your videos! And also - happy holiday season!
Love your book hauls in love with your book shelves. The boxing is great! I would have never thought you were an introvert you seem like you would be opposite. 😊. Your just the best and I love your channel and book recommendations it really helps, thank you so much. Blessings, love and light from Washington State 🤗🤗
Lexi, every time you post a video, I watch the video and then go to goodreads and put a bunch of books on my want to read list! You’ve rekindled a love for middle grade within me, and it’s been so refreshing to get back into them! It’s so great to see someone with such a passionate love for middle grade!
Just finished A Deadly Education and now sifting through the books I have but have never read! The cold winter vibes of where I live and being on lockdown (again) has rejuvenated my love of reading! Can’t wait to add some of these to my Christmas wishlist!!
I loved The Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking - one of my favorite reads of 2020 - hope you enjoy it too! I also really enjoyed Eva Evergreen. My husband and I both loved Moby Dick which we read as an adventure/lnatural history read. I love your videos and you have a great pile of books to go through there.
The very first recorded vampire book written was The Vampyre by John William Pohdorn, then Carmilla, then Dracula. :) From what I have found anyway! I haven't read the first 2 but have read Dracula and loved it! I can't wait to dive into the other ones.
Yay!! Iv been stalking your channel waiting for a video! Lol I just love ur enthusiasm for books and ur beautiful personality! U have sparked my LOVE for Books again after YEARS of not reading (well besides bedtime stories to my kids).... so THANK YOU!!!! I used to be embarrassed by my deep love for middle grade at my age (30) but now I say it loud and PROUD thanks to u!!! :) haha ur channel is my absolute favorite (and desi) and I would love to start my own booktube channel with my kids! :) so thank u thank u thank u for giving me creativity again.
Hi Lexi, I think that the actual "first" in the vampire genre was John Polidori's "The Vampyre". He wrote it as a short story during a bet/a competition between him, Mary Shelley (that's when she wrote Frankenstein), Lord Byron and Percy Shelley. Both Carmilla and Dracula came afterward. :)
Hey I absolutely love your videos! I was wondering if you could do a video on how you manage to read so many books while going to school. I’m an undergrad and can’t the motivation to read anything after all my assigned readings.
Oh my god “at the existentialist cafe” is one of my favorite books of all times, it’s an amazing introduction to existentialism! I’m so excited for you to read it
I love how excited you get when you open gifts from viewers. Eva Evergreen had to be bough asap and I just got it in the mail 2 days ago! Can't wait to read it but might keep it for October. A Clockwork Reader, love her as well. I need to send her a hello on her videos but I'll wait to see a new one like I do with all the others. I've never read or seen the movie The Lord of the Rings but I'm thinking of maybe reading it one day. Maybe. I'll have to see how I feel in the future. This year's November is coming up in 4 months! 2021 passed by so fast. We were in January just last week and now we're in July. That's insane.
G'Day from Australia 👋I have recently started watching your videos and Woot Woot you brighten up my day with your positive vibes! I love that you have read the Nevermoor series. I feel they are so underated. You will ❤️ Hollowpox 🙌

You are so inspiring, and i love your quality content, your excitement for books and gifts, and that you appreciate them and not taking them for granted.❤️When I’m searching for new books I always think; i wonder which book would Lexi buy!😄 Im happy i found your channel, especially these cozy winter times! Much love💕
PLEASE post a video on how you enjoyed the physics/time books! I'm like you, the concept of time is fascinating to me, so those are some books that I could definitely see myself enjoying, but I'd love to hear your perspective first!
Hi Lexi! If you are interested in the science behind time, I recommend The Elegant Universe as well. I haven’t finished it yet, and I’m definitely taking my time getting through it because I don’t have a science or physics background, but wow! There are parts where my mind was literally blown! 💥
OMG that book box was SO cute!! and yay I'm glad you liked the book haha I'd definitely love to read this book with you 💕 edit: also wow thank you for sharing lesser known (at least to me lol) classics I now want to read alllllll the classics. I'm currently reading The Count of Monte Cristo ☺️ another edit lol: also wow all of those nonfiction books sound SO COOL and also somewhat magical and OMG how did you find all these fascinating nonfictions? I want to read them all now
I personally really love the leather paperback version of the classics. Not the word cloud ones, because I don't love that effect, but the ones with designs on them. I absolutely adore them personally. Also, have you heard of Colette? There was a movie made about her in 2018 I believe, but I have also read some of her stuff since then. My favourite of what I have read so far has been The Vagabond. She has this really nice writing style that I really love and I think it is worth looking into her.
Hey! Love your channel ❤ I stumbled upon one of your videos and it's day 2 watching non stop 🤣 You open me up to go into different books and get excited to read. I literally went to Barnes and noble and bought 4 books.
Vampires in the Lemon Grove is so good I hope you'll like it 😊 Also Carmilla 🖤 once you finish that I HIGHLY recommend watching the web series it's so great!

Well.....my TBR list just got longer. 😂 So many good books. 📚 I am really interested in the Russian classic. My Great-Great grandparents immigrated from Russia.
I just started a book I think you will really like it’s about a gardeners daughter with powers who goes on a journey through the cursed woods with her friend fox. It’s called Among the beast and briars.
I read the razor's edge in my teenage years again and again and used to imagine a life just like Larry's and boy did life gave me a punch to the gut 😂😂😂😂😂
