Just got my vtm 31 setup.i got the #2 mod which maxes out to 28 inch draw length which is mine.i get all the efficiency out of my 80 lb bow.your right its smooth as butter and zero hand vibration. Just found you anf i subscribed. Love all your content. Keep on keeping on.🤙
We are still planning on it. Decided to wait till the new strings and cables come in and then do a start to finish tune. Thanks for your interest and for watching
@@toddlymburner5783 I went out to my local archery shop and it took them a few hours to set my bow up👍🏻but if your wondering about ordering one im not sure since I havent done that before
You won't believe then jump they have made since then. The RX4 to RX7 was night and day difference. We weren't all that impressed with the Ventum but the VTM feels exactly like the RX7 but in an aluminum platform. It's a very sweet shooter.
@@gritarchery Yeah, I go and pull all the new bows each year at different draw weights in my local shop. I just haven't seen the need to upgrade the RX4 until I played with this years bows. I was amazed at the bowtech SR350, damn near walked out the store with one, but yeah the RX7 sure is sweet. I was tempted again but glad I waited for the VTM in an 80# config.
The draw length on the 31 maxes out at 30 giving me the full efficiency of the cam at my draw length. The 34 maxes at 31 which would have put me moving back two slots and not getting the full performance of the cam. Probably doesn't matter quite as much on modern bows but we try to get to maximize our equipment if we can.
That definitely makes it hard. Wish dealers would at least get a left handed demo bow in. We have a lefty in our group he has always complained about that.
Just curious, with the 80 lb. what kind of speeds are you getting on the chrono? And what weight arrow are you finding works best with it? Great content 👍🏼
Someone broke our chrono and we haven't replaced it yet is we don't know the speed on this one. The arrow for this one ended up at 460g at 28". Its zipping that pretty good
It's not much difference in the price of a Hoyt and a Mathews and Pete just sold PSE so I'd kinda wait and see how the new owners did before I'd buy anything there.. Hoyts Rock bad Black vtm there in the video nice sight too .. 🤙🏻✌🏻

Appreciate the feedback. We couldn't be happier with ours as well. Thanks for the sub means a lot. We have a lot more content on the way! Stay tuned
I like how you film your set ups. Or maybe it’s the way you explain. Good video.
We will accredit it to the filming/editing. Dustin doesn't need any help making his head bigger than it already is lol.
Nice setup….thanks for sharing.
Thanks really enjoying it so far. Its a sweet rig.
Love the new VTM’s! You mentioned doing a video tuning that bow, are you still planning to do it? I would love to see that.

What does top cam look like as far as lean? And how are linbs ? Even? Or suneven deflection

We had about a 6 wait on the 80lber in.
@@gritarchery perfect thank you! I’m still waiting on week 4 on a 80 lb.
I plan to finally replace my RX4 Turbo with an 80# VTM 31 before next season. Can't wait for it.

What made you chose 31 over 34? I am planning on getting one and can’t decide on which myself. Nice videos 👍

@@gritarchery cool. Thanks
I’m in the same boat! Being a lefty I can’t shoot either one!! Lol

The draw cycle is so smooth on the last couple Hoyts that we ended up just going with the 80 pounders.
Was that a Strider knife that you cut the VTM tag off with?
Zero Tolerance 350
What arrow weight and spine are you shooting?
300 spine 28” arrow weighed in at 460 grains. We have the arrow build for this bow on our channel. Go check it out!

Hell yea! That bow is gonna shoot some nasty piss missiles!
You know it brother
Smooth ...sooo tired of that word. Hoyt is WAAAY over priced. PSE MATHEWS. Better for the money!!!
They are all very close today. It just comes down to personal preference and what feels best to you. Thanks for checking us out
