- Director Renny Harlin is a huge horror movie fan thanks to his mom and cites Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho as his all-time favorite! Hear his take on horror flicks and movie-making in general and how all of that shaped his take on his latest epic undertaking, “The Strangers: Chapter 1,” which hit theaters today! It’s the first in a horror trilogy, all shot at the same time, and all to be released within a 12-month period! Renny has stories from casting to shooting to the emotion & cry charts he made for his actors. He, of course, also talks about Bruce Willis and Die Hard 2, Cutthroat Island’s lack of success, why The Long Kiss Goodnight wasn’t as successful as everyone hoped, and explains how he landed the directing gig for Nightmare on Elm Street 4 as a virtual unknown. Plus, Renny reveals the movie he’s most embarrassed to be associated with, the one he thinks is a bit overlooked and underrated, and the infamous drink he created and shared with John Cena.

Awesome discussion! I’ve really enjoyed the movies that I’ve seen from Reeny. A few years ago I watched Prison for the first time and thought it kicked ass!
Props
Yeah I agree with Jamal Christensen
Yeah it’s unfair it’s supposed to be a skills contest… not a popularity contest
For example people are given playing time for having the most friends and whoever are friends with the coaches
TELL Chris Jericho… he is a stand up guy
👍 👍
Deep blue sea
Also we should have sports psychologists as work jobs available
Like for example there are psychologists for people with mental health issues
But what if there are sports psychologists for people that are athletes with mental heath issues
There could be bullying going on in sports and there could be Athletes that are getting bullied in any sport
There can be basketball psychologists that know basketball that can help basketball players with bullying going on in basketball or mental health issues in basketball
And soccer psychologists that know soccer that can help soccer players with bullying going on in soccer or mental health issues in soccer
And so on etc
Same way psychologists help people with mental health issues
Is Tamra here?
Just as Jamal Christensen and J Sullivan mentioned
Other examples include favoritism, bias, stubbornness, abusive power, slavery, blackmailing and harassment
Why is there office politics or work place politics going on?
It mainly happens with sports teams even though it’s not a work company
People aren’t competing for the starting spots on the team… it is just given to them
It is bias and unfair
