Edward: "You're forbidden to drive a car"
Jason: "Fine, you didn 't say anything about a motocycle".
I love how Lila was just happy that Jason was home. They probably should have just let her talk to him. He always listened to Lila. He took his middle name, Lila’s maiden, because she was the only one who was listening to him.
Hahaha.
This is awesome.
The only ones smiling at Jason rolling in with the motorcycle are Ned and Lila. Amazing.
Ned was so right they pushed and pushed Jason until he couldn't take anymore
Ned and Lila were the only ones trying to give Jason space and not treat him like he was damaged beyond repair
I love Ned!
Lila was also. That was why Jason took her maiden name when he decided to loose the Quartermaine name.
I believe Emily did as well, though being younger also helped.
Which is why Jason is still friends and close with his cousin Ned to this day and will help him defend the family business against outside threats!
@@BrandonCassaday Jason is an outside threat.....
One of the greatest soap characters of all time... my man Jason Morgan!!!
Jason Morgan, Todd Manning, Stefano DiMera, Sonny Corinthos and Victor Newman my top 5 all time favorites
Though I never fancied this version of Jason, I love the smiles on Ned’s and Lila’s faces when Jason rides in on that motorcycle! 😂
The start of a very loyal, strange, and awesome friendship
I knew I loved the character of Ned he is the glue of The Quartermaine family
Lolol Steve Burton he had the sense of humor the 2 legends Maurice Benard and Steve Burton
Neds face when he sees Jason on the motor cycle at the end is priceless. 😂
The beginning of a legend
Randy Clingon jason h s ezurie
the legend got old fast
I miss Steve Burton
"An enchanted chicken leg" I never realised Jason had a sense of humour back then😳😳
LMAO....omg😂😂😂😂😂😂
“Fa-getta ‘bout it!” “Don’t worry ‘bout it!”🤣 Sonny loved the “mob phrases”
They said that in the movie called Donnie brasco
It’s amazing that despite how different they both were at the time, so many things are consistent about these two almost thirty years later. And Ned! Damn! I do NOT remember him being TeamJason this way.
Ned and Lila's faces xD.. they're so amused lol.
I know, right? Everyone else was horrified, and then there's Lila grinning from ear to ear! Haha
Lila was always his biggest champion. that's why he became Jason Morgan ---- Lila's maiden name.
margannaful Actually Morgan was his middle name. He dropped the Quartermaine because he did not want to be associated with them. He did this before he found out Morgan was his grandmother’s maiden name.
margannaful I thought he took his biological mothers name. Susan Morgan
@@jenbranker4775 Susan Moore was Jason's biological mother.
Beginning of a great friendship 💯
Ned was spot on about Jason lol
Damn I wish Alan was still around.. Jason is way more excepting of the quartermaines now.. smh
Ned and Lily smiles at the end priceless
abredell it’s Lila
Lmao... I can't breathe I'm laughing so hard. Gosh Steve Burton is still hot after all these years. 🔥
Cyndi Judkins indeed he is
Red hot
I just said I think he got better looking with age....like fine wine! 🍷🍾
Wow Jason was so weirdly different yet the same
Jason Quartermaine was a better character than the killer guy they turned him into.
Jason is more interesting now than he was when he was a quartermain
Watching this scene just gets better and better :)
Anna Lee was so beautiful
Hell yeah she was!!
A Magnificent Elegant Lady who is greatly missed!💃🎤📺B.W.
Forgot how much the original AJ And Jason looked alike.
I think that that is because the actors are distance cousins. If memory serves.
@@charlestuart I think they are
Really??
They are cousins by marriage
Yeah they did
I wasn't watching GH back then but it really doesn't need much more explanation than this sequence to understand why Jason turned to Sonny and away from the Quartermines.
yeah family shouldn't control you
Unfortunately, Sonny's perspective was clouded because he hadn't yet been diagnosed
Me either but went I want back to these episodes I understood why .. he was just looking for someone who understood what he was feeling and didn’t try to control him ..but I do understand why the Q’s we’re going so hard he was the heir to the throne he was what they want Michael to be
@Travoice Marshall What do you mean that Patrick and Robin control Emma? I don't get it.
@@tia323araceli I feel like the signs were there that Sonny himself was bi-polar as well. He described it perfectly here to a T.
That was so good! Man, I miss those days!
Jason has spunk, always did. I get why he left the Quartemaines......although they love one another, they can't live together. Lol
Jason ( Steve Burton ) Q. Looks as hot today as back then ! His real life wife is very Lucky to have a good person like him , they’re are few and far between to find guys like Steve Burton . God Bless you Man , you’re Awesome!! 😃🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️🎄🎄🎅
WOW. I understand why Jason distanced himself from them.
So much better those days. Love the stories and the writing and the cast.
Wonder why it did not occur to anyone that he could have simply taken a driver’s test to see if he was ready. And I guess it never occurred to them that Jason might be humiliated by having the police bring him home.
At this point, Jason was still a very literal thinker. To him what someone says is what they mean. And Edward said he was forbidden to drive a car from now on. To Jason that meant forever.
Ahhhhh! I miss this GH! I loved Jason Q, I adore Jason M. Steve Burton shot it out the park! Everyone was on point, I loved Ned here!!! I even liked Sonny. Thank u for uploading❤❤❤❤❤
The Qs are partly to blame of how Jason lives his life.
Hall of Fame head writer Claire Labine RIP is responsible for rewriting Jason Q into Jason Morgan. Only the best soap writer ever. 10x Emmy and 10x WGA winner
"Where should I park it?" Ned and Lila's faces took me out. 😂🤣
Good stuff. That’s when I couldn’t wait to watch. Miss those days of excitement and Jason’s rebellion.
Lila and Nes with that look of "That's not Jason Quartermaine anymore, That's Jason Morgan now."
such an amazing scene. Thank you for uploading this
Alan makes me sick. Always favored Jason no wonder AJ had issues
Jason was the first born. But still. A.j was his son also
@@Pinkranger87 Jason is not the 1st born, AJ is the older brother
Finally someone that can see what I been saying for years but it's just not Alan , it's edward to . I truly believe that if they would've given him more attention he would've turned out better.
This is a prime example of how the family screwed up when it came to this new version of Jason
Such a great scene
I've always liked Ned, he and Lila are my favorite Quartermane...
Technically, Ned is an Ashton. He was treated as an outsider because of his paternity and that's why he sees the Quartermaines for the [bleeps] that they are. He sees himself in post-TBI Jason as a fellow outsider looking for his place in the world of the Q's and just not finding it. That's why Ned and Alexis bonded back in the 90s. They were both self proclaimed gate keepers, being outsiders of huge family dynasties (Q's and the Cassadines).
This whole the Q being upset about Sonny but this scene alone shows how they kept pushing Jason away and why he is the way he is for so long.
So it’s their fault that he works for sonny
@@ashleyfinchludwig5228 yes it is....they didn't respect him enough to give him his space.
@@ashleyfinchludwig5228 things would have never been the same regardless the blame the Q's get for Jason rejecting them is overblown........Jason made his own choices....its ironic the length people go to blame the Q's either they tried to control him blah blah or he had his own agency and did what he wanted even if the choice was bad.....and also everybody discouraged him from getting into business with Sonny his former family, Sonny himself multiple times he did what he wanted to do.
Jason made his own choices but the Quartermaine's didn't help the situation at all considering how they handled him after the accident
Started watching these classic scenes again and this is why I can't accept the new Jason. He has no chemistry with Sonny or Monica or anyone except Sam who I couldn't care less about and Liz. Sonny and Jason here show how well they work together. I also know that they are like brothers in real life so that might have a little to do with it. They are great together. Love their friendship.
Nilda Ferrer well you should be happy now
Well, the changed his personality so much he was not recognizable. He was nothing like the old Jason. It made him an acceptable Jason, at least to the fans who want their heroes to be good guys.
I think the way Sonny started treating him when Ric came along ruined their relationship and Sam has been annoying since day 1
The way the treated him and they wondered why he hated all of them except a few of them
Jason looks like Michael right here
I don't see it. He's always looked like AJ he acts like him to just happy AJ didn't pass on his addiction gene
I love this scene! Poor Reginald! Mr.Q snaps at him to go check on the noise, and he has a motorcycle coming straight at him! He ran for his life! 🤣🤣
Mr Q 😠
Alan 😯
Monica 😧
Lois 😐
Ned 😀
Lila 😊
@DisneyRainbow602: And somewhere "Tracy": 🤦♀️😂B.W.
Where should i park it. Classic lol lol
Jason: Where should I park it?
Me: I have an idea but I don't think it's anatomically possible. Hey, Edward. Bend over, open wide, and say 'Aah.'
The accident had already happened but this Jason Morgan still had more emotions than the one we have today. I guess killing people hardened him?
I use to love this show so much specially back then. Ahhhh my babies
I still miss Grandmother
This is great 🤗
Yes it was👍
Yes it is. 💪✊
It was all of this and how they acted and things that happened that he knew then he would never want Michael to have to grow up in that house.
Love love love Jason
If only they accepted Jason was a changed man they could have had a relationship sooner. Trying to push him into who he used to be wasn't going to work and they wouldn't get that. Well only Lila, Ned and Emily did but not the rest.
Jason was being crushed between the expectations from his family and the guilt trip they laid on him because he could not be their golden boy. I know it was all unintended on their part, they were acting out of love, but he had no way of knowing that. He did not remember loving or being loved by these total strangers.
I found it strange that on one hand they expected him to conform to the rules of behavior that had taken him over 20 years to master, while on the other hand, they treated him like a child who did not have enough sense to take care of himself.
I've been watching GH for 45years now and I remember everything!! This episode was hilarious 😂 Love our Quartermaine's Rip Edward Lila 🙏
Who did Jason help? Sonny said he helped a friend...
Stone.
@@andreasumey1667 ty
The beginning of a daytime legend; stone cold
This is when Jason started going criminal minded and moved out to be with Sonny!!
Jason's like (payback bitches)
Where should I park it???
I'm still laughing!! Ride it Jason!
Where shall I park it....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I swear, he got better looking with age!!
Classic!!
Miss Lila and Edward. They made GH along with Steve & Audrey...
I cast believe this was almost 30 years ago.
I love it very very much
To hear Sonny talk about his bi-polar. Not knowing what it was is deep.
So commenters like the fact that Jason quartermaine went from being a responsible member of society and someone who wanted to be doctor to a murdering mafia psych?
at least Ned has some sense
Love them
I want to know how much is in his check book,
I ‘ve wondered that too.
😂😂😂😂
A few million, considering the fact that the Quartermaines are considered "old money" and Alan and Monica were doctors. His trust fund could've easily been well over a million dollars in 1996.
This is what happens when you mess with Jason, Edward!!!
Classic Jason
And the actress currently playing BLQ / Loise's daughter is a lot like her Mom
Jason changed his shirt AND his jacket lol
I liked Reginald lol
I feel like young Jason and a young Sam would've been so hot together
Jason always loved Lila.
Stevie b🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ned knows what's up. They should have listened to him. Their own arrogance drove Jason right to Sonny. Sonny didn't have to really do anything. The Q's themselves are mainly responsible for what happened.
I don't trust y'all no more that's terrible every day Jason's going through the same exact shit of the family of Quartermaines.
They treated Jason as a child.
Lmao!! That was hilarious.
He can’t ride a bus ? Wth these quartermaine are really something
Thank God he escape them
wonder if Ned would be saying the same things if it was brooklyn......he didn't even get to really raise her so his parenting experience is somewhat limited
But this was not so much a parenting skill issue. It was more how to handle a brain damaged adult.
@@beegee1960 perhaps but ned doesn't really have either to be criticizing so much.....and a little ironic because Jason distanced himself from Ned later on as well....he kept a relationship with Lila and later Emily although I think ppl made a bigger deal of the Jason/Lila relationship then what really existed.
Classes move lmao
Maurice Benard, has played 2cof the best characters on soaps. Nico on Loving & Sonny on GH. I will take soaps anyday / anytime over dumb reality shows!!!
Yes but he shouldn’t do that take aj place on his drive
Hated this Jason so much! I know they had to change his character cause he was too vanilla, but it was such a drastic change. How the writers did Keisa? Its my villain origin story.
Ned was wrong, there was something wrong with Jason, but it was something that he could have overcome, probably within a few months. given the right support. But as it was, it took much longer. And in the meantime, Jason made some bad decisions that changed his life. Too bad the Quartermaines did not listen to Ned.
Bring back Jason Q!
@Travoice Marshall I really think steve could pull that off. General Hospital Should try that💯💯
I would like a Quartermaine dream sequence where AJ is alive and not an alcoholic, Emily wasn't killed, Jason never had his accident, Drew was always a Quartermaine and Skye was Alan's biological daughter and see how they interact together.
Wow Jason was so horrible back then too his family
They treated him like a stupid kid he just wanted to be treated like a normal person
Jason was horrible to them? They pushed him and treated him like a kid who didn't know anything.
