    This is very nice, something very different. Might you consider showing how to make the twisted wire from the beginning for this project? Thank you for your videos.

    This would be beautiful in Sterling as I’m copper reactive, but as a pauper, I couldn’t afford the raw materials! 😅
    Beautiful work!

      Just fix in the vice both wires. ( twisted and simple) and twist the same direction. Hammer it.

      I was struggling to get it too… but then I realised… twist the 2 x 18g wires first and then add a 16g wire and put them back into the drill and twist the lot together! Then hammer

    Are you using a drill or hand twisting the sixteen gauge around the twisted 18 gauge? I'm amazed at how evenly spaced it is. I love the end caps, will definitely try that on some twisted bar off cuts I already have. Will probably add a a bit of solder though.

    • @GemseekerStudio
      @GemseekerStudio  Месяц назад +2

      I use a drill to twist wires and rolling mill to flatten it. You can use a hammer. It is not necessary to solder it. You will see it :)

    Awww how beautiful!!. Can you please share your way of making the twisted wire?. Or is it solely available at your shop?.

    • @GemseekerStudio
      @GemseekerStudio  Месяц назад +5

      For half-round wire, you need a rolling mill and special rolls. But the one I showed you can make yourself. I told how to do it in the video at 0:48.... and of course you can buy it in my store :)
