Ghandruk has already lost its identity. It used to be known for traditional Gurung houses, dress, culture, food but now we only see concrete hotel buildings.
That is sad…
But still for facilities
Its modernising and is necessary for the betterment of locals there but all culture is not lost they still have lots of traditional houses along with modern structures too.
Just been there few months back
I visited Ghandruk in March'22 with my bike from India. These road construction is complete till the old parking area. But after that 8kms are still off-road.

The mountain view is always visible Make sure to check the weather is sunny and not cloudy in weather app on the day you are staying.
