Coastal redwood - the cousin of the giant redwood. Fun fact, coastal redwood is the tallest specie on the planet (the biggest one we know is 115m), giant redwood isn’t quite as tall but is a lot more girthy and therefore has a larger overall mass.
Oh this brought back so many memories for me (Im old 61) I had the dog on wheels- I used him to stand on so I could reach the work tops in the kitchen...I had a scooter similar to the red one and I am just old enought to remember learning 'old money' until decimalisation was announced. I was in the infant school in Yorkshire at the time and I remember the teacher flouncing into the classroom and angrily wiping all the sums of the blackboard and shouting " well, you can forget all that...we're going decimal!" and with that she stormed over to the cupboard and threw away all the old plastic coins!!
Love to hear you sent your child to Meithrin, I went to the one you was stood outside of a good 31 years ago! 🤣 gosh I’m old! Great video, I’ve not been in town for many years, nice to see it.
Hi imo saw more people about in lockdown its deserted ...Nice buildings ..I like water 💧 nice also like rain 🌧 with window a crack pitta patter ....thanks for sharing ❤ 👍
I just film around the people or just their backs to respect their privacy. There were people about, although not many as it was during work/school hours. Thanks so much, Joanna. X
Hey, havent commeneted in a while, hppe your well. This old video popped up of yours, nice to see my old hometown, I dont live too far from there now but never go back. My auntie was the one who cut the ribbon to open the Tescos up the top ❤
What a brilliant antique shop, I used to practice my typing at home on an old typewriter like that we had, loved it, don't know what happened to it. Great vlog to watch.x
I am one of the Americans who love to see the towns and your really old buildings! Yes, Southern Walse looks very scenic. Except for the metropolitan area of Cardiff, there are a lot of rural areas with beautiful rolling hills. And just north of you is Brecon Beacons National Park. Thanks the antique shop was interesting.
Great vlog. It's fascinating to see the cities and the little shops. Those are my favorites. I think it is very advantageous to know both languages. It creates an environment to learn other languages, like Portuguese. My son just bought a 3-D printer. He is having the best time with it. It's connected to his computer so he can invent things. He's already sent me a flower vase and a monster pencil-pen holder.
Thank you! 😃 The green jumper is from Spain - I bought it from one of the little clothes shops there. I love getting to visit new places. Thanks so much! x
Hi my name is Shane I live in Pontypool I was there in town on Saturday and that antique shop used to be a Barclays Bank it did this opened about 4 years now I think

Loving the r2d2 & heman/skeletor cool place to explore.Great share happy sunday 🙂👍
I think you and Marzie would have loved it in there!! :)
There are some clever people out there that are good with crafts.
I wish you could've seen it in 1990 when I first moved down there. It was always busy, and packed at the weekend when we'd all end up in Digby's 🤗👍
Lee an I love antique shops like that!
Hello Imo, catching up on your videos, been watching "the court thingy" sorry I'm late xx

Oh yes but I was little too old for He man, I was already in high school when it first came out
You missed out, there! Ha ha ha!
Oh cassette machine loved mine!!
Me too! Taping stuff off the top 40 on a Sunday evening...
@@PlanetImo Me too only to tape talking.😄
I also recorded comedies and things off Radio 4, now you come to mention it - like the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy.
It's nice to explore new towns. And find out the history if the place.
That's an interesting background on the Welsh school system. I need that to help me learn welsh.
I know of people who've helped out in the Welsh nurseries to help them learn Welsh.
Oh yes. The single word books from ladybird. I remember learning to read with yhem.
Awwww lovely :) I'm sure I can picture a little babies' ball and an old fashioned rattle...

Oh cool! I have a friend called Edward Jay who is actually designing concertinas for 3D printing. They appear to be pretty good.
ruclips.net/video/vE55WHTo-lU/видео.html here he is playing one of them. Your boy might be interested being a musician too.
@@PlanetImo Oh goodness I would love to hear one of those!
@@babykukla he’s playing it in the link I put in the comment above so you can. X

I rarely get a chance to go in Farm Foods, but I was quite impressed the last time I did.

Wow!!!! It's predecimalisation!!
God, I haven't seen a Poundstretcher in ages - I thought they all closed down!
Still up and running in Wales, it would seem! And much loved 😆 Thanks, Kittikoko. X
The handle on a phone was to charge it and make the other phone ring like an early intacom you see them a lot in old war films and dad's army x
Oh wow!! Like a dynamo type thing and more! Thanks for the info :)
I assume your lack of coffee would be like me running out of tea!
Pure devastation!!
Pontypool looks just as nice as Pontypridd! How do you keep your pontys figured out? :)
Ha ha! It means ‘bridge of’ in Welsh so I guess it’s manageable somehow. We have lots of ‘Aber’s too.
Thanks sis, show me more 🙏🙏💋💋💋💋💋
Short hair is really the way to go - it's easier to maintain and dries quicker after I shower
That’s true!!
HeMan seems to have lost his neck.
😂
