Thank you so much, this was wonderful to watch. I was raised in Croesy and free-ranged all over the valley on my bike. I always recognise the ancient nature of certain parts/ remains (like the hollow way which was destroyed for the new Grange hospital). I haven’t lived there for decades now, I miss the place but will never return due to personal reasons. This solidified my now geographically distant love for our valley. Your knowledge is greatly appreciated.
I grew up in Woolpitch and spend many hours playing in those woods and saw those huge stones but never realised that they were part of an old wall. loved this video, so much history in this area
Incredible knowledge, absolutely fascinating and my walks will never be the same again. Thank-you

Fascinating!! So glad he saved them rocks 🪨 🙌🙌😊
Fascinating, remember many of the lanes and hedgerows which have sadly gone. Hope Richard has written down his knowledge as will sadly be lost.
Cheers. I really enjoyed doing this video :-)

Really interesting. Thank you for sharing your knowledge Mr Davies.
I'll make sure he sees your comment 🙂
The Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in a cave system just outside Cwmbran. Not a lot of people know that.
