Brand new to playing goalie, got a complete new set of eflex 4.5 for a steal. Really appreciate this video. I'll be taking the glove to a pro shop to bake and using a stick to crush the pinch point!
I’m using a tps very old glove from 2004. I love it. Biggest pocket ever. No idea what break it would be considered. A friend gave me a ccm extremeflex 4 600 break and I hate it. Same issue you’re having. Thing won’t close. I’m thinking of selling it but want a glove as close to my current one as possible.
It is always personal preference, so a glove break won't inherently catch better than another one. Price used a 600 for years and had 0 issues with stick handling.
@@kaidenbrown2710 I wouldn't really be able to say anything on that. You can look and see if the foams or plastic can shift when you open and close it I guess. But without seeing it in person I wouldn't really be able to say anything on it.
Is it by chance a bauer? 4 bauers, maybe 5, all have terrible palm breaks. I kind of followed what he did here to help. 1x, 2x, us, hl. The HL has a practice palm, and literally has a tent where the breaks are. No one has any videos. Omg, annoying. Yes, yes, garbage gloves, but wow.
"CCM... great, if you're willing to put in the work" I agree completely.
Only for the glove ;) but let's be real, the design should've changed since this was an issue on the Eflex 1 glove I had as well...
@@HockeyReviews I agree, loving warrior right now as they are trying new things. Replaceable palms!

You can do it at your house no problem!

I’m still having trouble with breaking in my E3.9 🙄 I’ve done this glove trick a few times and still haven’t gotten it the way I want it...
I was wondering if I could get in touch to talk about some gear.
Whats your go-to glove you love?
Right now GNetik IV. But I like my JRZ a lot too. Was a HUGE fan of my Optik 1 until I started to feel shots through it.
@@HockeyReviews Cool thanks!
Vaughn makes the best gloves.

I actually have this glove but can't stick handle at all. I was wondering if a 580 will be better than 600 overall catching as well

I love my Extreme Flex IIIs!
Hey will you be getting the optik 2
At the moment I don't think so
I’ve been looking into videos and I think my glove has wavy palm do you know how to tell if it does have wavy palm
What is the wavy palm?
@@HockeyReviews I don’t know to much about it but I think it’s when the glove is broken in improperly

@@HockeyReviews the gloves hinge has a bulge and makes it unable to close properly.
