    Fun fact: almost 200 years before Thomas Newcomen would invent his
    version of the steam engine the rider Taqi ad-Din would describe a rudimentary
    steam engine that he encountered during his travels around the Empire.... so
    it was used for spinning kebab the guy literally invented a machine that would revolutionize
    the world two centuries down the line only because he wanted perfectly cooked kebab
    and didn't feel like spinning the thing.

    OMG! The Restaurant doesn't have a COMMISSARY. Where I work, the Marinated Chicken Shawarma is delivered in bags that are inside buckets. It takes 3 buckets or more to pile up a SKEWER and I'd do one or two of those in a shift, depending on how busy it is. I love how they combine the patties and thin slices of meat together. The challenge with Chicken is that I need to remove the residual bones. Otherwise those would be choking hazards. Customers can lose their teeth or die from choking. We've taken extra precautions to avoid those things. Thank you! This video has been very educational.

    • @bluzshadez
      @bluzshadez 5 лет назад

      @@unwisemind1339 The only problem I have with Chicken Shawarma Skewer is that if the Butchers at the Commissary may have been behind schedule or if they are lazy, then what is delivered to us are marinated Chicken Shawarma wrapped in plastic and put on buckets with so much bone residue. I have so much to do and that takes time.

    • @bluzshadez
      @bluzshadez 5 лет назад

      UnWise Mind You are absolutely right. But where I work, we’ll cut the chicken from the skewer from top to bottom & finish cooking the Shawarma on Flat Top Grills. It’s the only way we can ensure that the meat is thoroughly cooked. In Israel, the Cooks would stop the rotation of the Roasting Spit to really cook the Lamb Meat. They will cut the only on the side which was cooked.
