Although we all know how picky these rifles can be, there's still something cool about it being a Stoner design. The wire stock really gives it a grease gun feel😎
I bought 2 back in the 90's and gave one to my son and I kept one. Neat little 22. I keep it apart in a romanian gas mask bag . Great little pack gun. You are the only other person that I have seen with one . Great find.
Cool gun thanks for sharing! I love the hodge podge of parts they had. FAL grip, Uzi sling and K98 front sight. Any day with Chad behind a .22 is a good day, watching him happy like that makes me happy in return.
Chad, Great video, you doing a great job. I know we've all harassed you but you've stuck it out and come into your own. Barry was a hard act to follow and people miss him.
Right I never had any issues with Chad I believe he just didn’t like being in front of the camera. Honestly I wish he would do his own thing sometimes.
Chad is based and redpilled. He doesnt have the instant charisma of Eric, but the longer you listen to him, the more you realize he's equally as based as Eric.
I still have my armalite AR-7 that was given to me by my granddad in the middle 80's. I had a 15 shot Ramline magazine for it than ran flawlessly. Lost that mag somehow and have been looking for one just like it ever since. Still shoots fine with the original magazine. Thanks for sharing yours with us! Aloha!!
I have the modern Henry AR-7 and I love it. Put it together and you can tap 100 yards pretty easily with iron sights. Mine will also only run mini mags and other hot rounds. Cheap rounds will not cycle.
I had a Charter Arms AR7, it was a bullet hose with terrible sights. I got a 25 round magazine and put so many .22s down range that I warped the barrel. Charter Arms was Stand Up guys and sent me another barrel, but I eventually swapped the thing for my first revolver (I was young) which turned out to be outright dangerous...but we learn.
I had a Armalite AR7 as a kid and shot many a case of 22lr through it. The rifle was very accurate and I never had a problem with it, later in my 20’s I sold it to a friend who still has it 30 years later.
I don't have this exact version of the gun, but I do have Henry's version of this thing: the US Survival Rifle. Other than the need to use at least 40 grain .22 LR for the bolt to cycle properly (it'll still work with lighter loads, it just won't reload after shooting, making it function like a straight-pull bolt-action). Definitely a gun I'd recommend to anybody who needs a SHTF gun, if only to keep yourself fed and save ammo for your self-defense gun.
100% i feel the same way. first time i seen a glock i was like that's the ugliest pistol i've ever seen. then after shooting it i was like that's the most beautiful hand gun ever. can't judge a book by it's cover
You didn't mention cleaning the AR-7. I have a Charter Arms AR-7 and the directions say if you want to clean the action you "leave assembled and wash in any petroleum solvent". I never could get that to work well. Removing the bolt for cleaning requires the removal of the receiver side plate and about a dozen little parts. Reassembly requires some experience and practice to be able to do it in a reasonable amount of time. The rifle is a lot of fun, but every time I clean My AR-7 I can't believe the same team who designed the AR-15 designed this rifle.
Dave Smith so disliking a country that has betrayed us numerous times and commits constant war crimes against the Palestinian people makes me an anti Semite
T Kuehn it’s not Palestine’s land, Jews have been in Israel since before the time of Jesus Christ, there was never any significant Arab majority in that land, the word Palestine didn’t become widespread until the British Empire colonized the land and subsequently used that name, and Israel is the only 1st world democracy in the middle east while groups like PLO want to turn it into a living hellscape as long as there aren’t any Jews there
For all the length & supposed compactness, I suspect more utility could be had from a long-barrel 22 pistol with muzzle can and detachable stock. Of course, stateside you'd have two xfer tax stamps [one for SBR, one for the can] but in a military use context [pilot survival rig] it would make more sense than the rifle. Or maybe just a Skorpion w/ a can? Hmm...
Early in the Bond series it was a Beretta 418 in 6.35mm or same as 25 auto, then they made him switch to a Walther PPK, (although in various movies he used a number of other guns this was his standard carry weapon) Oddly, in some of the films no gun is mentioned or used by Bond
My father had an original the safety would get stuck in the half on/off position letting fire full auto, but that's one is nice the Israeli's know how to make a girl look pretty.
My Henry's that accurate too, with a great rear aperture and orange front sight. I think I'd still rather have an H&K MP5 PDW and a Beretta 90-Two. Try some CCI Quik Shok/Segmented .22 LR, Brother!
Wow. I want one! All the handy of a 22lr (which I need after selling my 10/22 in the disability bankruptcy), AND all the beauty of surplus wear and tear! I would absolutely NOT have the self control to maintain it as a collectible, lol. But maybe I could get the Israeli mods on a modern gun.
I shoot my .22's more than any of my other guns. Good cheap training, and just flat out FUN! I've got a Taurus TX-22(amazing pistol) that has the same exact trigger, as my Canik TP9 SFx(4lb pull, with short reset), so I train often with the TX. I've also got a CMMG .22 conversion kit, for my AR. It runs great, so I use it a lot for training, too.
Those Mini mags will give .22 Plinkster a woody any day. Have the Charter Arms version and did find an aftermarket collapsing stock similar to the one you have there. Would not eat anything other than the CCI mini mags, stove piping with other crap.
Why don't you create a kit using a AR-15 grip a picatinny rail along with a front sight base to attach AR-15 sights. ( My personal choice of open sites would be the brown owls 360° barrel rear sight along with an h and k Style three quarter Circle front sight ) a dot Style Optical site. Just maybe you could work out something with Henry repeating arms to develop a aftermarket kit or a production rifle.
Dammmmmm that's one good rifle for being a .22 Cal!!!!am curious... How much is that rifle worth??? And what you mean .25 Cal Auto like this from 007???
I would like to see you guys to a torcher test on the newest generation of the ATI Omni Maxx polymer lower reciever on an AR15 5.56 platform where the lower is the only polymer part.
You guys love your 22lrs. Qhat do think about the high standard model GB 22lr semiauto pistol. Mine has a 6.5 inch barrel on it. And its deadly accurate.
there needs to be more modern rifles with this much innovation, mags in the stock, rounds in the grip, etc. if this wasnt a collectible i could see myself using these a lot in camping trips for small game hunting
I want to see y'all get the .950 JDJ rifle out and do some ballistics work with it see how it handles a gel block lol that would be too funny and a good watch along with that what is it 5 or 600 nitro express
Although we all know how picky these rifles can be, there's still something cool about it being a Stoner design. The wire stock really gives it a grease gun feel😎
@C-Bomb for survival? The gun/ammo would be much heavier.
@C-Bomb I can't argue there lol
I hear the Henry made rifled are tops
AR7 is the most unreliable 22 i have ever owned
@mussydesign7933 - then you were probably using the wrong ammo
I bought 2 back in the 90's and gave one to my son and I kept one. Neat little 22. I keep it apart in a romanian gas mask bag . Great little pack gun. You are the only other person that I have seen with one . Great find.
As my grandpa said: it will hit where your aiming at and that's the most important thing. No thrills but reliable and accurate
I miss the shit out of Barry, he was awesome! RIP 😭 I have never understood why some people don't like Chad though. I think he's pretty cool!
I miss Barry as Well... but Chad, You're a good egg. That is a really cool rifle.. I would like to own one.
Kyle P redundant statment then

It's just like my Henry AR-7 except it gets preferential hiring considerations in banking, media, academics, and government jobs.
It also gets to be part of an ethnostate with no criticism.
We need to get them some of that diversity. Open borders for Israel.
Kyle P wall. don't forget the wall
I love how aware this comment section is
FINALLY! BEEN WAITING MONTHS FOR YOU TO REVIEW IT!
My dad got me one of these as a christmas present when i was a kid great fun
I had a Armalite AR7 as a kid and shot many a case of 22lr through it. The rifle was very accurate and I never had a problem with it, later in my 20’s I sold it to a friend who still has it 30 years later.
That is some LOUD trigger reset!
I have a Henry Survival Rifle. It works great. Years ago I had the Charter Arms pistol version. It was jam-o-matic. That is a pretty cool version👍🇺🇸
Thats cool I got a amarlite ar7 i got from my pa inlaw I keep it packed up in one of our bug our bags
I also still have my charter arms vs and it blowsss. One time i pulled a while brass cass that had gotten inside the action.
@@antipeta3 nice

Chad’s channeling his inner Orlando Bloom.
Hope he doesnt beat his wife.
Thanks guys, really appreciate the opportunity to see one of these in action. Love the channel, always will.

I love the 36g HP Mini Mags. It's my hunting ammo. I shoot Federal 36g HP "550 bulk" for plinking, because it hits the same POI as the MMs.
Another sweet gun and great review!! 👍🏻
What do Israeli Pirates say when they are irked?

LOL FROM ISRAEL

Yt unsubbed me. I swear I'm tired of them trying to control my content. Great vid as always guys
what an impressive and awesome little 22!! I freaking want one!!
If Henry does one of these I'll take it in a second.
they do
I would really like to see the Israeli version the Ruger 10/22.
Look up the sniper ones they use for "crowd control"
i love 22's. that might be the ugliest one i've ever seen. i want one
if a gun is ugly, it tends to be good. Glock, Hi-point, These. lol

I like the flooring stock u can cram a shitloadof other things in them, plus it can give search teams a clue if u had to ditch in ocean
Henry needs to build replicas of these.

Video: this gun is from Israel
Entire comment section: *hell breaks loose*
The problem is they put "Israeli" in the title. That attracts all the anti-semitic leftists who want to enact sharia law around the world.
Dave Smith so disliking a country that has betrayed us numerous times and commits constant war crimes against the Palestinian people makes me an anti Semite
Oh no I created a comment war again
Dave Smith “Israel has never betrayed us” lmfao. Israel are the real terrorists, taking Palestine’s land

Sir I think u just have a love for cool things and I have never seen or heard of one and I love it and now want one
I'm a fan of .22 rifles too,..and that is a great rifle too.
Thanks for showing it's accuracy. I love it!
You forgot to mention the AR-7 survival rifle is designed for easy maintenance and can accept improvised lubricants in the field like hair gel.
You guys have the coolest rifles! Love the videos.
With the “spongy” recoil spring it will cycle with .22 short ammo, and it is as quiet as a cap gun.
Great video Chad, thanks you guys have a good weekend!
Seems like things are going really well over at the IV8888 camp Eric and Chad really seem to be running smoothly together better then normal
Great video! I’ve been thinking about getting a survival rifle! I’m liking the idea of the new AR-7’s from Henry

Ok Chad, there are some Israeli Jerico's on the market lately, do you have one to show?
You guys need to do a review of the Tavor 7. I love Israeli guns too!
Cool little rig. I may have to try and make that barrel sling mount!
That trigger reset sounds almost as loud as the shot on camera.
That is interesting shape gun.=)
less recoil, long size like Rifle,Simple structure, good accuracy and small ammo but not too weak.
I would think a downed pilot trying to survive would want a suppressor.
Or at least a flash hider instead of a muzzle break
great video and info, thanks
That is a sweet little survival gun
That's so crazy I got both the Amalie original and Israeli version for free. Cool didn't t know why there were two different stocks. Now I know thanks
Ps you know that there was a pistol version of the ArmaLite rifle made also it had grip that resembles a broom-handle Mauser
Why don't you create a kit using a AR-15 grip a picatinny rail along with a front sight base to attach AR-15 sights.
