    Looking for a powerful but portable bass combo amp? Look no further than the Fender Rumble 100! In this review and demo, Milan from MusicianWave shares his experience with this amp, which he's been using for close to a decade. He highlights the amp's lightweight design and versatility, with a solid-state power output of 100 watts, a single 12-inch Eminence speaker, and a 4-band EQ system with three voicing options. We demonstrate the sound-shaping capabilities of the Bright, Contour, and Vintage voicings, as well as the built-in overdrive circuit. He also notes the XLR DI, which is great for larger gigs.

    Have one.....love it....was a little concerned at how light it was, at first...but, it gets the job done in fine fashion....and for the money, you really can't go wrong with it.

    Great amp. I own one and absolutely love it. No more lugging "back-breaking" gear for me. It sounds fantastic too. oNe LovE from NYC

    Great Amp !! I also own the R200 which sounds phenomenal, but my 71 year old back wanted ultra light. Solution: I upgraded the 12" speaker to the outstanding Eminence Basslite S2012. It's all on TalkBass under upgrading the speaker in the Rumble 100. It's now fuller and more capable, and weighs 20.6 lbs.😂

    You can max out the master, and set the input gain to taste. You get a better signal to noise ratio this way.

    Very cool, thank you. What bass is being played with the pearloid inlays?😊

    I LOVE mine! I did the upgrades recommended on TalkBass. Lined and braced the cab, plus swapped in an Eminence Basslite S2012 NeoMag Speaker. My passive Peavey gets plenty loud! No problem versus loud drummer and guitars. 🤘

      The batting really helps with the sound, as does the S2012 NEO speaker. I've done the same upgrades to mine. Did you notice the output difference with the S2012? My amp "opened up" (more output) with the higher wattage S2012.

    • @lloydster7362
      @lloydster7362 8 месяцев назад

      Not so much higher wattage but Speaker Sensitivity plus increased XMAX opened her up. I'm running an FDeck HPF inline of the Bass and Amp, too.

    Could you please tell us how to connect the xlr out to the mixing console? Do we need to turn on the hi z?

    Fender rumble version 3 is IMO the best class D bass amp on the market. It's the only one that really sounds like a bass amp should.

    Replacing the stock Chinese Eminence with an Eminence S2012 GREATLY enhances the sound of the amp. Put some batting in the cab, and that will help, too.

    can this handle 5 strings Bass?

    • @mikerome4362
      @mikerome4362 7 месяцев назад +2

      Yes, I have an Ibanez SR1205, and it handles as well as any big boy amps I've played through. It covers frequency down to 35, which most amps only go down to 40.

    • @MusicianWaveOfficial
      @MusicianWaveOfficial  Год назад +2

      It supports low frequencies pretty well but never tried it with a 5th string so not 100% sure tbh

    • @christopherfidler3019
      @christopherfidler3019 Год назад

      in my opinion the Fender Rumble 200 is the best value in the whole Rumble line. The 15" driver hits hard and can handle a 5-string Low B well without sounding muddy, a compression tweeter that can be turned ON/OFF and the ability to connect an extension cabinet (112, 115, 210).

      Could be a bad setup- seems to be too low, as he didn't seem to have the problem in the higher register.
