    Very pleased with mine. I got a big, pleasant surprise when I picked it up.

      Yeah got one today and couldn’t believe how light it was when I picked it up

    Have one.....love it....was a little concerned at how light it was, at first...but, it gets the job done in fine fashion....and for the money, you really can't go wrong with it.

    Great Amp !! I also own the R200 which sounds phenomenal, but my 71 year old back wanted ultra light. Solution: I upgraded the 12" speaker to the outstanding Eminence Basslite S2012. It's all on TalkBass under upgrading the speaker in the Rumble 100. It's now fuller and more capable, and weighs 20.6 lbs.😂

    Great amp. I own one and absolutely love it. No more lugging "back-breaking" gear for me. It sounds fantastic too. oNe LovE from NYC

    You can max out the master, and set the input gain to taste. You get a better signal to noise ratio this way.

    Replacing the stock Chinese Eminence with an Eminence S2012 GREATLY enhances the sound of the amp. Put some batting in the cab, and that will help, too.

  • @lloydster7362

    I LOVE mine! I did the upgrades recommended on TalkBass. Lined and braced the cab, plus swapped in an Eminence Basslite S2012 NeoMag Speaker. My passive Peavey gets plenty loud! No problem versus loud drummer and guitars. 🤘

    • @WayneGreen-b4y
      @WayneGreen-b4y Год назад +1

      The batting really helps with the sound, as does the S2012 NEO speaker. I've done the same upgrades to mine. Did you notice the output difference with the S2012? My amp "opened up" (more output) with the higher wattage S2012.

    • @lloydster7362
      @lloydster7362 Год назад

      Not so much higher wattage but Speaker Sensitivity plus increased XMAX opened her up. I'm running an FDeck HPF inline of the Bass and Amp, too.

    I have the high mids and treble maxed out with bright switch on. It's the only way to get any sort of high end.

    The Rumble 100 can handle quiet drummers. I've used it live with a country band and a blues band with no problem. If your drummer is a big fan of John Bonham then buy the Rumble 500 or 800. The whole range of Fender Rumbles are incredibly light, so they're very easy to travel to gigs with.

    Fender rumble version 3 is IMO the best class D bass amp on the market. It's the only one that really sounds like a bass amp should.

    can this handle 5 strings Bass?

    • @mikerome4362
      @mikerome4362 Год назад +2

      Yes, I have an Ibanez SR1205, and it handles as well as any big boy amps I've played through. It covers frequency down to 35, which most amps only go down to 40.

    • @MusicianWaveOfficial
      @MusicianWaveOfficial  Год назад +2

      It supports low frequencies pretty well but never tried it with a 5th string so not 100% sure tbh

    • @christopherfidler3019
      @christopherfidler3019 Год назад

      in my opinion the Fender Rumble 200 is the best value in the whole Rumble line. The 15" driver hits hard and can handle a 5-string Low B well without sounding muddy, a compression tweeter that can be turned ON/OFF and the ability to connect an extension cabinet (112, 115, 210).

      Could be a bad setup- seems to be too low, as he didn't seem to have the problem in the higher register.
