Idea for a video. You should talk about the best ways to negotiate trades and tactics you use. Do you offer the trade straight up? Do you ask them if they’d be interested and then initiate talks? What are you most successful ways of negotiating trades?
“The art of the trade” would be dope All these fantasy trading savants could also be top account executives for whatever they want to sell Dude in the middle has the best strat videos imo. He goes into how it’s vital you are empathetic to the other teams needs, and thoughtful trades that are mutually beneficial are what get done. You can always try to rob your league mates- but at the eod you are a GM (assuming dynasty) and if you burn enough bridges you kinda box yourself in from future movement
The no name TEs in the Lions offense the season they traded Hockenson away had 8 tds. So while TD regression can happen to LaPorta, consider that the TE in the end zone was a big part of this offense before LaPorta and should continue to be going forward. I'm not arguing against sell at this value, but I think the chances of him dropping off are being overblown.
Please continue to make videos that discuss picks for rounds 17+ in startup drafts. I am in round 18 of my startup and starting to get stuck on who to pick
Almost everyone down there is a dart throw and you just pick based on upside. There is no way they can make a buy/sell/hold video on random WR3s and RB3s.
In a 10-team PPR, where I already have McBride, me and another owner are kicking around this deal: LaPorta and the 1.08 for McCaffrey and Ferguson. Any thoughts on which side you'd take at this point? He wants a little sweetener, where I think he's already got a small advantage.
I've been trying to sell one of my TEs this offseason, with no success on getting something worth it. Got Kelce, Laporta and Pitts. Any suggestion on strategy?
@@Dustin031 ya its superflex. My other qbs are Carr and Penix. That’s the only thing holding me back with the deal is Stroud. I also have Puka Collins Flowers Nabers Douglas and QJ at WR
I just sold DHop and the 3.07 for Jermaine Burton at 3.01. It was probably an overpay, but I just think the end is very near for DHop, especially with Ridley and Boyd coming to town with questionable QB play.
If looking to compete and ended 3rd last season are you sending Flowers away for Amari Cooper and Hopkins? 2QB 10T S11 Other WR’s are Lamb, AMRSB, G Wilson, Nabers, Pittman, Rice, M Wilson, Bateman & Zay Jones
12 team PPR 1 QB 2 RB 3 WR TE 1 FLEX.Traded D Wicks and 2025 2nd from team that just had worst record this year for 2024 3.09 Mostert and Stefon Diggs. Thoughts on trade ?
Love the buy sell holds, gets a little long winded on players though. Thought it’d be a better listen to hit more players instead of just 5 players in 45 minutes. Otherwise, love what you fellas put out.
10 team super flex I sold Josh Allen and 2025 2nd for Laporta, Bijan, and 2025 3rd. Had Hockenson, no startable RBs except James cook, Kyler and Arich, JJMcarth. What you think?
can y’all help me out with this trade i received giving my garrett wilson and Josh jacobs for the 1.04 and Jonathan Taylor in SF. my team is set up well to win now with kyren as my other rb then my other top wrs are puka jordan addison and chris Godwin
When you guys say sell on someone like Laporta, is it strictly because you can maximize a good return? And do you guys always try to do this? I ask because I have Laporta, Kincaid, and Kmet in a 1pt TE premium. Is it wrong to want to win?
Look at projections in your leagues. Laporta is probably only a point to two points better than some of the other TEs around the league. So if you can move LaPorta and get similar production plus another asset that can help you, then do it.
I will say Russell Wilson isn’t good at QB anymore, and mixing that with Arthur is just such a disaster. He literally cannot play QB within the structure of the offense he is just a menace. We will see Fields by week 5 minimum so I think you may be a little off on him specifically
@tommylee5062 I agree, if anything Arthur being there only solidifies Russ in there longer. Arthur hates production in a way that doesn’t match how he drew it up
You saying this about Laporta proves why you should sell him even more. People are over valuing him and you can get extra pieces for pretty much the same production

@@Bush_76 true, ya there’s this guy in one of my leagues who just somehow always pulls of these insane trades that nobody else can.
Sold LaPorta for Pitts and a 25 1st, will be rooting for that comeback this year
Love that value. 1 top 3 TE season for Pitts and his value skyrockets
I’d rather have Sam

I'm sorry Nick but I skipped the intro😘
take that kiss back
The intros are the worst part of these videos
i dont blame you... lmao
Yea I always skip the first 10 seconds
Soooooooooooooooo Annoying
Drafted LaPorta with the plan to flip him. Got Kincaid, Zeke, and a first. Gimme that all day.
Brilliant
If that’s real, that’s a great move for sure.
You found an excellent trade, that's been the exception for sure.
If that first is early then great, if it’s a late first, yuck
Nick your foot looks like it’s about to fucking fly away.
lmfao
I want one of those Bdge wall decorations

Dynasty SF 2RB 3WR 2Flex: Gibbs/OBJ or Pittman/Brooks?
lol @ 6:56
Bought Harris today for a 2nd and 3rd both projected late late

I got three firsts for Laporta . Lol
Got Bowers, 25 first, 25 and 26 seconds for Laporta. Crazy value
Sold Laporta and a 25 3rd for Garrett Wilson and 24 2nd (Pearsall). Also cleared the way for me to draft Bowers
I got a trade offer to receive Love and Amon Ra for Stroud and Diggs. Should I accept this trade?
Yes
take love and amon ra
Nah
Depends on format. 1QB? Love side. Super flex maybe keep stroud

I personally think Allen is untradeable but solid trade
Please keep steaming Hopkins for me. I’d love to get a second for him
wow the tension is palpitable... I'll miss Andrew
u just made up a new word
u get it, yet still u sit here and deny nothing
I couldnt sell Hopkins for a bag of lemons

Got nuke and Engram for mims and Zeke and 25 3rd
in 10 team 1 qb ppr, was just offered a 2025 1st, 2026 1st & keenan for waddle.
Accept?
I’ll add my other wr’s are Chase, Olave, JSN, Courtland Sutton, Thielen, Tolbert
I’ve got McBride pitts laporta and engram in TE premium 😈
traded the worst manager in the league Keenan Allen for his 2025 first round pick which will probably be top 3 how we feeling?

Spoken like a true fantasy manager who has Fields on his dynasty team. I’d be shocked if by week 5 they make a QB change
@tommylee5062 I agree, if anything Arthur being there only solidifies Russ in there longer. Arthur hates production in a way that doesn’t match how he drew it up
Andrews is 28 and will be 29 by seasons start. Laporta was a rookie and still out produced guys like McBride. I still don't disagree overall though.
Russ was QB8 until he got benched last season
Hunter is in the hen house 🏡
For a someone who does this as a job my dude sure gets some stats wrong. Levis had 9 touchdowns not 6.
Just downtiered laporta in a rebuild to McBride, my own 25 2nd and a 25 3rd.
That seems pretty even IMO
HAYNNNNN
Sold LaPorta and Caleb for
Kincaid and Josh MF Allen

Selling Laporta is absurd. Terrible take. Its dynasty, why is this year the only catalyst for these conclusions. No F'n way you sell Laporta
