Working on it, coming up, probably by the end of the day in CET. Working with Strega and the Shared. I am absolutely thrilled and can't be happier with it. I never get the feeling I have two left hands with one finger when it comes to keys.
Really glad to hear that! The more I use mine, and the more I realize I can do with all the items at once, it really amazes me. You gave me some interesting ideas to try with the touch strip controlling a Lubadh... can't wait to test it out... @@CinematicLaboratory
A perfect video releasing at the same time my first eurorack synth fires on for the very first time! My top row is all TTxB modules (now just 258 and 281), so this'll give me more than enough inspiration to start exploring over the weekend. Excellent work!
This is so good! I have 266t on the way then I’ll be 3 modules away from completing my tiptop Buchla system. You’re making me want the 218 as well hmmm. Anyways amazing patches here!!!
The 266T is amazing, you'll love it. Also, that 218 is a dream combo with the 200T series. It's bloody expensive for a keyboard, but I feel it's almost mandatory. Next video will be dedicated to the 218 with Strega and the Shared System. It's a dream come true (for me).
I'll tell you why I quoted these words in your video. While I've heard of the Divine Comedy I didn't read it yet, but seem to have a same like hobby for great thinkers and modular synths, so I'll share where I heard about ''beyond the firmament'' myself. On the blog supraconscience vibratoire (in french from Quebec but easily translatable) one can learn about I quote "New psychic science of the new man. Telepathic communication. Invisible plans. Teachings from the initiated. Gnosis. Supramental." A vast journey indeed (infinite). And there I learned about how an alien species named Archons (archaic) ''enslaved'' humanity with a tight system of rules difficult to breach. In this system the number 7 is used as a kind of mockery in a lot of aspects of existence : 7 days in a week, colors of rainbow, circumambulations around the Kaaba, many others and seven music notes... Whereas I liked in the past a lot of ''normal'' diatonic music using these seven subdivisions, now I get why I prefer what's beyond... It's not noise at all and indeed may evoke Angels with a capital A, not to be confused with angels under the firmament wich are only tricksters. Thank you for great sounds, just subscribed today :)
Heh, it’s almost like the move to eurorack Sergeifyed Buchla. I’m guessing at this point the only thing a full size Buchla really gives you is a different workflow. Both Eurorack and Serge 4u are much more flexible than Buchla because of your point that everything is just voltage in those systems.
Unfortunately I am not aware of Serge. As far as I know Serge provides access to more low level functions of certain modules and uses the same voltage for CV and audio, but Serge also studied Buchla gear for a long time before doing his own thing. I made the decision to stick to Eurorack but eurorack Serge doesn't attract me as much as the new Serge Paperface synth units. I think it's cool to try to 'recreate' these units with eurorack and see what happens.
Having had a large Serge inspired Modcan 4U banana format gave me a good taste for Serge. I noticed a few people prefer Serge in it's original flavor and footprint. In the future I might get the random source version... For now I just bought my first TTA Buchla dual Osc arriving soon. You got a lot a mileage from that system and I doesn't look like it to that many sound sources and modulators to pull the screams from the underworld,. Well done my friend.🎉🎉🎉
this is a sound designers/noise-makers dream! Fantastic video.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Please please keep the series on the tiptop Buchla coming. So informative and so well done
I checked my backlog and I really need to do a Krell patch with a musical angle. It will be my next 200T series video.
@@CinematicLaboratory awesome.
Just insanely good, Robert. Thank you.
Thank you Johno! These Buchla/TTA modules are a dream come true.
Marvelously swapping audio for CV opens a new world of modulation madness. Mucho kudos, you clever lad.
Wow!! Stellar video and patches. Thank you for sharing these! Such amazing textures you have uncovered. ❤❤
This is why I love the Source of Uncertainty! Thank you!
great sounds and inventive patching. going to have to try some of that last one on my bugbrand.
Ugh. GAS. Very nice demonstrations, thank you.
Glad to see you using the 218e! Can’t wait to hear more thoughts from you as you explore it more!

This makes me want to sell most of my modules and just buy all the Buchla ones. So far I only have the Source of Uncertainty. I want more!! :D
That sounds absolutely amazing.

Love your videos. Informative AND artistic!
Love this!
Beyond the seven heavens and the firmament... Now we're talking.
If I'm correct that's the realm of Angels, beyond that it's the Empyreum (Devine Comedy, Dante). Still a long journey ahead :)

I'm reminded of Michael Hedges (RIP). Dude, didn't anyone tell you a guitar is not supposed to be played that way😂
Amazing.
Cool!

actually upon watching it again I finally figured out that it's actually to 2 Arturia 84hp cases plus the touch keyboard. Nice 👍
Who would be looking for "pitched melodies" with modular anyway.
