@@_synthicyde I'm so damn impressed by GC. Haven't really delved into the esprit stuff but I've come back to Slide so many times and it really seems to never get old. The Nick hexum Collab album seems to be just as good, I've been absolutely obsessed with it since I heard and am floored by how much fun these songs are. There's clearly a ton of thought being put into the songwriting and structure of his releases
As much as I love his music, i respect his overall grind / strategy even more. The 100% electronica company that he is nearly singlehandedly crafting (with the help of adam and neggy gemmy of course) is super impressive
I just realized him and ESPIRIT are the same artist lol. That makes a lot of sense given the vaporwave influence

To be honest not a fan of this project but I've been a huge 311 fan as long as I can remember. My dad got me into them at a young age. I've seen them 4 times live now. Definitely one of my favorite bands

311 the greatest band of all time.. 😤
311 proves that you don't necessarily need to make a lot of great music to be a great band. A handful of great tunes, a few solid albums, and the ability to consistently bring it live are plenty. This band could have stopped making new music in 1997, and I'd still be going to see them live.

I followed George Clanton digging on Soundcloud 2 years ago, I was not totally in it but I knew it was a great artist. Then I listened the common LP with Nick Hexum 8 month ago, with Out of the blues. I just discovered that the final album is out today.
