    Thank you for the review and video. I think a month of playing with it will give a really solid follow up review.

      Chris LaCombe that’s the plan. I want to work with it more, do more designs and see how it does over time.

    I don't understand all the negative comments. I enjoyed the review you were honest with your opinion.

      Have you checked Thingiverse? You may have to import them into another software first but I know it’s possible.

    Thanks for this. I was looking at this one and the Ender 3 Pro. The biggest reason I was looking at this one was because I own all the other Silhouette machines and love their software. I would be looking at small items to make molds of for casting resin. I already design all my svg in Silhouette Studio so I like the idea of designing then bringing it in to their 3d software. My concern is with the quality of the print because I don't want to have to do tons of sanding to be able to make a mold with it. I know the Ender would probably be a better quality machine but then I have to learn yet another software. I still can't make up my mind in which one to go with lol.

      Amber Lindsey I’ve heard the ender 3 is good as well as Prusa. They will require learning other software though. Sometimes it’s worth taking that approach.

      @@pablogallardo5100 I actually ended up getting the Sovol SV01. Loved it so much I got a second one. That is one of their first models though and they have newer versions now. I liked it over the Ender because you didn't have to put as much together when you got it.

    • @MakerExperiment
      @MakerExperiment  3 года назад

      The machine has a print area of about 5"x5"x5". Hopefully that helps answer your question.

    Glue stick is your best friend...that printer will not be. If you are wanting to continue with it get some good dry filament on a reel. Does that thing have a fan on the end effector? Good luck

    • @MakerExperiment
      @MakerExperiment  4 года назад

      Richard Engstrom hey Richard. I do plan to get filament on a reel. This sample pack did not work the best. I’m not sure about the fan question. I’ll have to look.

    I recently got one of these from www.maikit.me.
    I think it is a great starter printer.
    out of the box ready to go, work at preset speeds can get better when slowed down a bit.
    And the customer support they have was going above and beyond.

      Michelle Williams I don’t currently as far as a video goes. So far it’s done what I need, but I know that it won’t be sufficient for more advanced 3D printer users.

      I honestly don’t really have a best settings. There are much better 3D printing channels that I think you should look at. I do 3D printing rarely these days. Check out @3ddiy he does way more than me with 3D scanning and printing.

      Jean Seb Astienback it is for hobbyists. There may be cheaper ones out there that work well. You are certainly welcome to make your own video to inform people.
