May seem that way but it's something police do 1000's of times a week ,
More concerning is the new search laws that have just gone through parliament, police no longer need a warrant to search a property if they have suspicion
      This will definitely be abused

Serco is a private contractor that the UK government has contracts with, Serco is not the government, but they do have very sensitive information that is not for public knowledge. If you are filming into windows on or from a public area, you are not breaking any laws. But the sign on the gate is very clear, 'no unauthorised access', it doesn't matter that the gate was open, you can not access that area without authorisation. They were in the right to detain you using the Terrorism Act and once seeing you were not a threat, they let you go. They did not over react, you may know you're innocent, but Serco and the police do not. In this instant, you were in the wrong and accessed private property and peered through windows with a company that has military contracts with the government.

They might have come across all pally pally but they went straight to S.43 without even conducting an investigation. It's only due to you quickly articulating your motives and de-escalating the situation. With someone else they would have been cuffed up and violated. How is it the police are not wise to what this is, it's been going on for years. No excuse.

My friends workmates father was stabbed and slashed yesterday in Stirchley, Birmingham as he dropped his son off to work. It was all on dash cam including the registration number of the attacker. The son came running into work shouting to call the police and an ambulance. The police NEVER turned up! The elderly victim was taken to hospital and the police NEVER turned up there either. No evidence collected, no road closed to collect samples etc and the elderly man had a big slice of skin taken off his head! We are left wondering if the attacker was a police officer and that is why the cops never came or possibly there was a man with a camera somewhere nearby and half the station were attending that incident. It is an absolute outrage!

Once the Police Officer appeared to be happy with what had happened, why was it necessary for 4 Officers to remain at the Scene? I suspect that it was a way that they could avoid being given another job to deal with. Best way that a Police Officer can avoid work, is to involve themselves in a job that another Officer will have to deal with further, but avoiud getting a job that they will have to deal with themselves. Now this is what I don't mind, SERCO are a crap company, it's just those douchebags who turn up to private companies harassing them, but SERCO and government contractors like G4S also need to be held accountable and the government needs to stop outsourcing work to them. Mind you if you turn up on your own, they all come out and bully, in a group, they behave.
