Would it be possible for you to do a short video on creating the rings / discs / spirals?
Been using Indesign for nearly 18 years and don't have the time/patience to switch.. but this software does seem to be coming along nicely and hopefully gives Adobe a kick in the pants to start fixing some performance issues and other things... not sure why your MAC is having such a struggle with the software though.. that is concerning!
Remember my Mac is doing a heck of a lot of things in addition to just running Affinity Publisher. There's broadcast software running to share my screen and audio to RUclips in addition to making a local recording of the screen and my audio to be able to create a 4K version of the session. Affinity Publisher runs very well under normal circumstances!
For the monthly view, can we add a column between Thursday and Friday the size of the ring and put the table under de ring?
You could, it's a matter of working out what changes you might need to make in the future and creating a design that supports making those changes in the easiest possible way
This is a nice tutorial... just not sure ANYONE would ever use this.... why would you use this when you can just use a calendar app on your phone which links to the cloud and allows you to access and share from multiple devices, etc?
Maybe cos well designed planners do far far more than any calendar app. You might want to take a look at Etsy which sells tons of planners. You'd see there's no comparison between the right planner for your needs and a calendar app. Have fun!
