Nah this part of the arc annoys the hell outta me, cuz Aisen is built up to be this uber smart basically omniscient character who knows Ichigo's life and capabilities far beyond what anyone else in the soul society knows. By all accounts he should already know what the "final getsuga tenshô" is, that's why he intentionally made it so Ichigo can train before the fight.
This mf considered every conceivable possibility all the way down to Ichigo's damn foreskin, actively breeding a person capable of going toe to toe with him so that he can get even stronger. But the man clashes with his sword and he goes "hmmm, must be impossible" and spends a full 5 minutes in denial of the clearly obvious fact that he's losing. If we was half as smart as the show made him out to be, they would've clashed once, he would've put two and two together, and released his complete hypnosis for good measure. But nope, had to let himself get his shit kicked in.
And then Ichigo, being the brilliant, hardworking soul that he is, goes "hey so now that I've established that I'm objectively stronger than you and will probably win this fight no matter what I do, lemme use the one attack that deatroys all of my powers after" like HuUHHH??!? And tell me why it didn't even kill the mf? Like he's immortal and you spent all your MP for the rest of your life bringing him to 1HP even though you coulda just done it normally. Frustrating. Both the hero and the villain had to act real stupid for that ending to happen
you are correct about aizen part but wrong with ichigo, if ichigo fought aizen normally , aizen would have transcended again and again.
Ichigo pulled up with a move Aizen wasn't aware of cause there was no way Ichigo had the time to achieve it, after that it was the only thing bigger than Aizens genius inside hes skull: Hes ego.
Dude was so sure of himself the moment all of hes genius culminated in the fusion of the Hogyoku that he couldn't conceive a way for Ichigo to aproach hes power, to be correct he couldnt conceive a Shinigami or Hollow possibly reaching that lvl.
He planed for everything in Ichigo's life but to say it simply he surpassed expectations after all he started as a failed experiment from the get go with him being a Hollow-shinigami fusion, Aizen probably diverted from that idea after succesfuly having espadas and Tosen being able to go hollow all the way to resurrection. Aizen probably "got all the information he needed" and didn't consider the heights of power that could be acheived beyond that.
That aside Aizen was still evolving and still immortal so even if Ichigo claped him for 10 days and 10 nights Aized would come out on top. Assuming Ichigo pushes Aizen continually to 50% of its power with every swing Urahara still couldn'y bind him as he was too strong.
You are actually wrong on both counts. Aizen is responsible for Ichigo's creation, but it wasn't intentional. It just happened to work out that way. He decided to make use of Ichigo from day one, but it's not like he was in the lab planning his birth.
Second, as stated in the video, Aizen is immortal. Fully unkillable, constantly evolving, limitless growth type immortal. If Ichigo kept fighting, eventually the thing in his chest (I don't feel like googling the spelling) would have adapted and Ichigo would have lost. He had to overwhelm Aizen quickly, and weaken him enough that he could be sealed.
I'm sorry but if you didn't think Aizen had a ego before before this fight you were not paying attention the man considered only 2 people stronger than him and would brag the moment he had the advantage.
Nope, Ichigo couldn't afford to let the battle drag longer. After barely a few minutes of fight Aizen went from being absolutely useless to an evolved stage were he was capable of destroying Ichigo's arm with one of that soul bombs, if they kept fighting normally Aizen would only get stronger. Plus, as Urahara said after the fight, since Ichigo trained in the time gap Ichigo would slowly go back to normal because the time dilatation was slowly correcting itself, meaning Ichigo was slowly getting weaker while Aizen was very rapidly growing stronger. Ichigo did not have any time to mess around, he did his thing, humiliated Aizen a bit and then went straight to business and took him out with Final Getsugatenshou before he reverted back. That man was efficient as hell
