I install this equipment all day everyday. Currently the ip20 that uses utp/ftp 52v cable instead of the lm400 coax is much easier to install. This also less impacts the current needed from the network cab. Alignment with nice freznel zones help less lobes/rssi reflection issues. (-98 -35 range). The ip20 can also provide network while aligning in emergency maintenance. I really love the interfaces when you can get you head around the frequencies.

Is there a difference between XMC and ODU? Also what's the use of U-Bolt and Strut arm?

is that vertical polarization I think the ODU is assembled H and the Antenna is V polarization.

Solo son contratas que ni siquiera cuentan con una adecuada instruccion ya que se ve como tiran el lanzador (O disparador como lo conocen en algunos sitios), eso es algo que no esta dentro d3l conocimiento de aquelos técnicos que hacen oa instalqcion

how perfectly does the angle have to be from drum to drum to get a connection? beause i heard the beam is like a laser. like do you just have to just point the antenna in a general direction or do you have to make the angle perfect for one tower to communicate to another
I see you don't give up easy. OK the drum have to see the other one to get a connection. Just like the way u look your gf or bf in the eyes and shee or he looks back even if you are taller or shorter. Not all elevation are the same so it could have an angle to it. There's an app that gives you all that.

@@captainkris652 you have to pan both sides so that you get the rihht readings
Mount, use app or compass, check signal level- usually-80dBm on Both sides. Align precisely to -50 or better. If ODU- use multimeter, if vaweguide - use Your friend@rack :-) Be sure not use sidelobe.

This is clearly contractor work...Mtn Wil chase each of you off site and fine you all..because no ppe at all...when entering a site all ppe have to be worn...clearly some fly by night company...
