Me, at least in some circumstances. There are some sentences (mostly idioms) that will sound really awkward and forced if it's spoken using my language. Either way, there are some sentences or words that will sound horrible if it's translated into English.

Subscribed!! There is a distinct similarity between a British accent and a Southern US accent. The Southern accent is a little slower, and drawled, but there is no denying where it came from. I was born and raised in South Carolina, and I've had people from England, California, and all points between, ask me if I was from the UK. Totally off topic, but I think it's kind of funny. Talking to a native speaker that, while not teaching english per se, i used to being around many non native speakers, she told me that she tends to speak more slowly and clearly with non native speakers than with, let's say, people of her city. it is more or less like when you speak in a dialect or a strong inflection with someone from your area and, upon meeting someone new, you (even unconsciously) polish your way of speaking to accomodate the interlocutor.

In addition to Phedre Delaunay's excellent answer, I would add that many content creators and internationally based teachers of English understand and replicate a lingua franca accent which has fewer aspects of connected speech, sentence stress etc which native speakers speaking to each other or who aren't aware of English as a lingua franca may deploy naturally.
